Hi,

Gpoover to the nearest hardware shop and ask for ( Chemical Putty c/w Hardener ) mixture of this substance is as follow --> 3:1 ratio more on putty lesser in hardener, mix well with 2X scrappers and apply onto the crack ( If the crack is minor ) , leave it dry and sand down to smoothen the surface then you can start to spray.

* make sure to sand down the rest of the area after you have done so on the crack area. GL

i dun think putty can really mend crack fairing, been trying and the crack tends to show after some time

if its me, a cheaper way is to put some epoxy resin on the back of the fairing, n if possible, get sum fibreglass and mix into it. it will harden n give the structural support. on the outside, fill in the crack wif body filler, sand n paint.

A ride a day, keeps the doctor away!

Epoxy Resin Tends to crack after wear and tear, if you really want a strong hold, you could use a type of contact cement from Japan, I used it on my previous fairings and it turned out quite well. The brand is cemedine but it takes time to Cure the cement, thats all but after you sand it down, its a :thumb:.

How much did the cement cost? Did it work out to be cheaper than getting the fairing repaired at a shop?
