Excellent helmet build with special electroluminescent wire attached to achieve the "Tron" look and feel that's sure to turn heads and make jaws drop as you ride while making you extra visible in night conditions. Purchase includes a helmet care kit consisting of: Owner's manual, ear plugs, cotton buds, brush, deodorant spray, visor wipe, visor cleaning spray and the NiTEK carrying bag. Size is XL ( 61-62cm or 24-24 3/8 inches). Extensive item description follows.

 

The electroluminescent wire, uniquely designed to enhance the profile, shape and contours on the helmet, is added as an additional safety feature for riding in dark conditions. The wire is firmly adhered to the shell using a specific adhesion process that does not result in degradation of the helmet shell. The electroluminescent wire is powered by AA batteries and have 3 operation modes: on, slow pulse and fast pulse.

 

The Interceptor is a DOT and ECE approved street/touring helmet with 31 unique pieces of cross laminated pre-impregnated FIBERGLASS, KEVLAR & CARBON FIBER used in its shell construction.

 

It features the World's first flush mount, optically correct shield mechanism with a lexan flat panel low distortion shield. This means that the face shield is in line with the shell and water cannot seep in through the face shield when riding in wet conditions.

 

The Interceptor is equipped with Cool Max Liner membrane interior liner that envelopes the head to create the most comfortable fit ever experienced, achieved by layering different densities of foam and rubber. This decreases "hot spots", shift and fatigue during riding.
