Hi All,

 

Just some friendly advice. Do not buy from Lim Ah Boy. My father rides a Honda Wave (damn cheap bike) and went to LAB for repair for some wierd sounds in the engine. They repaired it and my father went home, but the problem came back, so my father went back again. This happened 8 times! Later my father found out the reason for it. They have been using grade 3 imitation parts!

since day 1 most of us know about it. we call them " chiong parts" but it's cheap thou.. SO i only get small item from them. example rain coat , screws and stuff...

jtxz is right, if you're unsure of their quality then just get the small items from them. if you wanna risk the thought then go ahead with it? thanks for sharing the experiences though

LAB sells alot of cheap parts, normally I go there buy & DIY or bring to workshop for my mech to install. LAB can buy can not install, the mechs there very slow and the workmanship sucks...

My dad bought stuffs from LAB 30years ago when he started riding, now he stopped riding and i took over the role of riding, my dad brought me to LAB.. LAB is really a legend. Best part is, 30years of business with no change in address.

most of the shops outside got their spare parts from ah boy, tires and all. i would rather go str to ah boy to fix it as its alot cheaper, some parts may b even cheaper than in jb. so far so good, been gg there all the times ever since my dad intro me. onli one bad pt is u have to wait longer to b serve compare to other shop. but if u choose the correct time, its normal.
