anyway i read the cap125 it stated that the owner should stated clearly and give an example of early settlement fee if any to the hirer?

 

but it does not seems to be my case.

All you have to do is to ask for the complete agreement including the completed schedule. No need to write on a piece of paper - fill in the schedule which will include any fees for early settlement.

 

 

As mentioned, the hire purchase agreement is typed out via MS EXCEL not hand written so they can't produce out just upon request... Thats y e reason to request to write everything on receipt is to safe guard our backs...

Simplest of which is to avoid shop that have chopper awaiting at entrance... Go to known decent shop to get things done... Let it be if it cost slightly more... At least you won't come back complaining...

You're repeating the story instead of answering the question - notwithstanding you didn't read it before you signed, what does your schedule of the HP agreement say is the early settlement fee?

 

Btw it is perfectly fine to have the salesman witness the contract. Even at the CPF board, the staff will witness your nomination if you don't bring your own.

All you have to do is to ask for the complete agreement including the completed schedule. Get them to fill it and give you the completed schedule before you agree.

 

As you say, some of the more established and reputable shops don't have problems because they sell goods at a sustainable price. It's a pity that some cannot see beyond the main price tag.
