GILERA runner VXR 200 workshop

Hi guys I just bought a runner 08 few months ago and Im ver happy with the bike but recently my power has decrease from 140km/h to 100km/hr. When I'm riding at 100 it's seem hard to further throttle. Bike sounds powerless and need to open big throttle to reach 100. What could be the reason(s)? Pls help me thanks a lot! would appreciate if someone could guide me the cheapest way to get the ear of the st200 to be fixed on to my runner? I.e. ( where to get? Where to fix?)

Okay guys, need some opinions as looking for a set of shocks to replace my runner rear.

 

I understand there are shocks from bitubo, dnm(taihin), yss etc etc..

 

I know bitubo is a gd brand but not gonna spend so much for it(heart pain)..

 

Anyone using the 2 other suspension I mention? How is it?

well worth ur money ...for price wise u need to go down n ask them,,,so far i do recommend them

Doesnt look too good.. 3 week for spraying. seem scary.

Hi guys, I would need to find out the fuel tank capacity of my scooter..its a gilera vxr200 2005 model..cause my fuel meter is faulty and i checked around some say 8.6l so say 12.2l do anyone have the answer?

hi, need a bit of help. my 05 vxr has been lying around in my mscp for about 3 months. i need to do a major service. its fully stock. is there a general rough amount i need to set aside for this. will $500 be enough? and can anyone recommend a workshop? thanks.

Perhaps u can elaborate more on what sort of major service you planning to do? Hence from there can advise you.

If is normal full service [belt, rollers, u clip] on your transmission and changing engine oil, filter and plug it will only cost the most $220.

well that's a good price for a complete servicing. and the balance is enough for a new battery (mine's pretty worn out) and new set of tyres. shiok!

Did previous owner touched the carburettor setting? Should at least able to achieve at 27km/l..

Ur fc seems like silverwing instead.

My previous Vxr able to hit 25km/l with open port, pipe and some mods on transmission.

Perhaps next servicing check on ur spark plug.

If the tip is blk and oily that shows that ur bike might be running to rich.

Thus setting a leaner setting might enables you to regain a better fc.

If that's not the case, then might need to check the sizing of ur main and pilot jet.

Hi, would like to check if any bro here has encountered overheating issues with their gilera before... I'm riding a gilera vxr200 '05 model, and the temperature will go up after half...normally 1 or 2 bar before the red zone...its just normal riding from say boonlay to clementi...the gauge will rise normally when the bike is idle eg. red traffic light...anyone can advice me on what might be the common causes of this problem...thanks in adv!

Did ur fan turn on? did u check ur coolant level?

Advice u to send ur bike for a cooling system check, especially on the water pump and thermostat.
