Hi, anyone here knows roughly how much is a 2nd hand GPR pipe and a brand new GPR pipe for VXR200?

Hi guys anyone here experience melting fuse? There's 2 fuses right beside the battery compartment, my 10A fuse's red plastic always melts. I wonder could it be the current too high or could it be the rectifier's just beside and hotness melted my fuse.

 

Also how much do you guys usually pay for a good battery?

One of the Scooter Paradise workshop replaced a cheap china battery for me that cost 70bucks that i think is quite screwed already.

Next time I better look closer at what they are putting into my bike. Trusted all these people too much. These situations dont just happen at 1 shop but a few many, so pissed that I had been changing my oil myself the past 2 times scare they give me some cheap oil as they usually bring out their flask with the oil inside without showing you the bottle.

 

I seriously wonder if they would give me some shitty sewing machine belt during my next full service or should I just try to trust myself to DIY lol.

vxr is the older version( 05 and below) the picture u post on the left is the RST. and the latest is st.

get the latest .. since same engine. problem free, even got prob can go back to piaggio. tho some might disagree, i still believe nothing beats a new 'out of the crate' stuff. unless u r into mods, get the 2 stroke.

VXR 200 is around half the price of a new ST200.

lets say u buy one at 4K OTR. dump money for overhaul and a respray. i don't see why it cannot last u a good 2 years.

2 years is when most runners stat to show signs of wear and tear.

free service is a gimmick where by u do not pay for service only. all other materials used are chargable. you can get more or less the same service for the same price at workshops outside. and if u r looking at a transition bike before 2A, buy second hand

Hi guys, I need ur help.

 

My bike got this screeching sound when I throttle my accelerator range about (Rpm:5 Onwards & Speed: 50 Onwards). If I close my throttle the noise is gone.

 

Recently I have just go the workshop to service & wash my Clutch.

 

But the same problem still remains.

 

Any1 knows anything abouth this & can help me with this problem?

Hi gilera ppl..i will be getting my fba plate gilera vxr 06 model soon..its a 2nd hand one and milage about 48 thousand click..besides the shop changing all the belting, and etc to new ones..what other inside the bike i shud look at also?..im sure gonna have probs but i dunnoe what are the common probs of gilera,kinda curious..a newbie to gilera soon..hope u guys can help..

check your water pump and change a new one.

its usually one of the first thing to spoil. transmission meaning belt, rollers and u-clips only?

check your clutch shoe. 3 yrs and 48000Km can have quite alot of wear.

engine can do much unless u do a top overhaul. meaning taking out the top block and doing a good cleaning.
