sumhow these modifications are extremes ar. i believe they can out perform, but outlast.. i dun think so. reliability is gonna be an issue esp if the bike is not gonna be use for 'track ONLY'.

 

yes, unless u can tahan to change a part after every ride.

Do u know that revving on the mainstand can warp the clutch bell?

Happened to me once and a few others.

no pics beb.. and i dont think got ppl wana post pic also.. its trade secret.. diff mech got diff style of cutting d mangkok.. my multivar is still stock.no mod.to me stock multivar is good enuf.if u push it too light,the belt might slip off the travel gradient which will cause mayhem to ur transmission.. =) but good luck to ur attempt.u can try machspeed or sunrise.their mechs are both good at this mod.ah seng, ah huat and ah pui.. all good mech.. :thumb:

there is improvement in top speed but im loosing my pick up...

may b something wrong wit my secret.. ha..ha...

 

now i want to try it on my multivar but no guts la...

changed my rear bearings and im pretty damn sure it isnt the bearing that is making all that weeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzing sound.. one day we all meet up and go to the agent? how?

hmm..mine also got probe..there will be this squeaking sound like eek eek..coming from the rear when stopping and stationery like waiting for the traffice light..i do not know what it could be..i wonder if its the same prob u guys facing..anyone face a prob like me...?

mine's ok when its stationary, but once i start to move off reaching bout 50km/h the sound starts again.. bothers me a lot not knowing wats that sound.. we should meet up to see if our probs are the same cos it is really bothering me a hell lot lol.

07' means RST, so should be the same as ST200 right?

P plate rider wants to buy a scooter.. which scooter is better in terms of fc, maintanence? cpi gtr 180 or gilera vxr 200? both looks attractive to me.. advice please..

ur idling point might be too low.. that's is wat happen to me.. just adjust it to a higher point, it solve the problem..

1st ride: KRR (04 - 07)

2nd ride: S4 vtec 1 (07 - 09)

Current ride: Runner VX200

I'm a ex Gilera 200VXR owner, do have the same problem.

Have been in & out of Piaggio service centre as least twice for the same problem! SC Supervisor told me it could be due to water get into petrol tank thru fuel cap at first, but I told him my bike is never ride in the rain & always parked indoor. The second time around he said that the petrol in the fuel tank could be spoiled b'cos I seldom ride my bike???

The third time when it happen again, I send it to ASphoon workshop at Ubi.

That guy just adjust my idling speed to normal, in less than a minute for free!

Since then, my bike never stall anymore...

check ur air filter too, it might be dirty, that could be the reason y ur idling point drop.
