Stricter Implementation of Handphone Bans While Driving

Hi everyone

 

Do u feel that the handphone bans while riding/driving does not seems to work? offenders are still abundance. isn't it time for TP to target these people a bit more or at least do some campaign against them?

 

there are few groups that they shd target asap:

 

1. Rich business man/woman - tends to text or call while driving

2. Lorry or some van drivers - tend to be calling company for instructions.

 

2 days ago, while running an errand for the company, was taking a taxi and the fella was answering a call while turning in North Buona Vista Road!

 

For group 2, can we make the company to install some holders to make the phone handsfree? oh, suspend the license of those idiots who ride with one hand and answering the phone with the other. saw many of them around Lavender area and they are pretty wobbly!

Alot of car owners got money buy car... Spends thousands on body kit and stuff... No money to buy a simple earpiece for their freakin phone!!

 

Those delivery van/lorry company also sometimes sux... Provide the driver with phones, but never tink about their safety and provide them with a decent earpiece...

 

No need expensive bluetooth earpiece lah.. Wired earpiece only less then $20...

 

I once saw a malaysian rider on his bike riding along KJE, from far see him in and out of the lane... Tot the bugger was sleepy, cos it was 6am in the morn, when i passed him, i noticed he was actually holding his hp sms'in... Was riding too fast, if not would have smacked his helmet...

guys, u know whats the worse? i ever ride alongside a car to just stare at him cos he was talking on hp. he still got the b*lls to look back at me as if im the one doing it.

 

further up ahead i had to make a right turn and he still dare to drive slowly next to me and honk at me. wtf!!!!

I've seen some drivers veering left and right on the lane almost colliding to the cars next to it, going slower than usual, when I overtook, I saw the driver holding a phone to his face. Obviously asking for trouble and he can be so nonchalent that someone may be staring at him given the number of cars and bikes overtaking him.

hmmmm........often when i stopped beside a car.....at times i would look at the driver...sometimes they are using phones,how i wish i have the "power" to stop him and give him summon...haha....how i wish i am a tp at that moment...his action is endangering other road users...

there was once i saw a man in business suit sms'ing while driving - i horned at him - he looked at me - wound down his window and ask me "what"

 

i gave him a thumbs up - a big smile - and said good luck - pointed to the back and said your uncle took a picture of u

 

 

his once ego face turn into a yesterdays roti prata man
