If u doin 50km daily i guess its normal? Try M3 or bt090 or michelin pilot power.. Other than branded tyres, god knows how good they are.

 

Usually tyre last 1yr for me.. Bt090 have softer coumpound therefore wear out faster..

 

I dont think anyone here do their own servicing but our mekanik "jbatracer" can help in any problems.. And our electrician master mekanik "rykros" also good in diy.

I went to global.. Tell steven tat ur budget is 5k wit all d mods in.. He will slowly increase the price up but jus die off at 5,3 so he wun ask for anymore..

for me i pump 220 front 250 rear.. so far so good.. im changing tyre soon as well.. but donno wat tire to use..

been using battlax all the time.. it has serve me well but i wish to try other tires.. recommendations plz!!!! New year eve u guyz got no plan ah??

 

hello peeps! is it normal for a tyre to last 6 months? cos i only changed my metzeler mz1 tyre june this year and its already 'botak' at the rear. i ask bikeshop they say its bcos metzeler is german made so the weather and temp in singapore plays a part. they ask me to try shinko as its korean made and cheaper as well. bike is mainly use for transport 50km daily.

 

Personally i wudnt wanna use a cheap tyre except if it was for temp.. i mean bt090 is a gd tire that is quite affordable.. 50km a day is alot of travelling.. but at the end of the day its the rider's choice coz for me tires are very important.. Juz my 2cents

hey guys. ok so i went to a few shops to ask about S4 pricing. 1 shop quote me 6.5k for a spec 1 with renewed COE and 5k for a spec 2 COE ending 2013. another shop quote me spec 1 with renewed COE for around 5K + but sadly no S4 at the moment. looks like gonna cost me 5k and above to get a spec 1 with 2020 COE. anyone recommend shops @ bukit merah there?

Bikeshop says like that ar?...Not 100% true...Coz korea's weather and temp also not same with SG...

 

For more mileage on tires,always check on ur tire pressure...get dual compound tires if you are corner siao and do lots of highway riding...Sport Touring tyres like BT021,Pilot Road 2 etc etc..If for transport purpose, i recommend BT45...tyres below the 300 mark..

 

6 to 8 months is still ok bro...Mine 3 months...60km per day...not including my KL runs...

 

I do my own servicing bro...if your keen i can teach you...but you might have a problem when disposing off the old engine oil...(Thats why i dont do mine at MSCP anymore)..Start investing on tools first before DIYing...

Get d spec 1.. Has better mileage and coe price is a killer now.
