I got my Metzeler sportec m5 fitted last saturday only to find out that the front was Made in Germany while the rear was MADE IN CHINA.

 

What is going on here??? I paid premium price for premium tyres. Now im paying so much more which i could simply paid half the price to get a china branded tyres fitted.

Hi, yes the Metzeler Sportec M5: 160/60-17, 190/55-17 and M3: 120/60-17,160/60-17 are all made in china. Metzeler has started tyres production in China somewhere in June last year (which a lot of people already know) to cut down on production costs and increasing demands in Asian market. However the tyres still go through the same quality assurance tests and rest assured its the same quality as the ones manufactured in germany. If you doubt the authenticity and needs anymore clarification, simply reach us at 65154978. Thank you.
