Guan hoe auto bay can do the conversion ! :D Fork they can be found at scrap yard for gxsr400, but need to clean up abit lol, if i fit the gxsr400 fork, the ground clearance will be lesser than the original fork that im using now.

i tink if u get a new gsxr shocks..ur clearance shld be ok coz it will raise ur rear a bit.....can accomodate for the lower ground clearance from installing of the gsxr400 forks....i was thinking of getting progressive fork springs from usa..but a bit pricey@160sing dollars....coz the springs reli cannot make it even after i serviced the forks w new fork seals n dust cover....used 10w fork oil.....i tink il drain change to 20w fork oil next time....keep me updated on ur conversion k

Progressive fork springs good stuff haha, But i tot the fork spring can ask shop to preset it to ur prefrence? hmmm, i personally like the slower absorb reaction kind of fork, i donno whats the term for that thou HEHE :cheeky:, Anyway if the convertion of Gsx400r still lag of ground clearance, i might wanna try jet up kit, i saw it on ebay the other day, can jet up the bike a little haha, will update once the conversion is done :)

Hello peeps.. Im thinking of getting bandit 400. Cn any1 give me the review of the bike? FC, handling, servicing and etc. And hw much is the bike otr?

hello i just got my bandit gsf400p recently, currently my bike is underperforming as there is some valve leakage. but my FC is about 18-20km/l. I whack my bike almost all the way... average rpm 6-7k.

Handling is stable.

The number of Bandit 400 are diminishing, they range form FK to FQ (Latest I seen Vtec version). Slowly; sadly , 400 cc bandit are scrapping 1 by 1.

In future, this thread will have to be keep alive by Bandit 1200/650/1250.

Now air/oil cooled GSF650 carb version. FOr my ex-gsf 400, use the best red bottle paint from DIY shop, apply patiently with a brush, 3 layers, each after the previous 1 dried.

Use the good paint, after 1 month, even accident petrol splash onto paint will not wash it off. Remember to wipe off the gasoline fast though. Dun leave the petrol on the paint/frame.
