no offense to all ,if u looking for an all rounder best naked bike which can have good FC , do stunts , and easy on your wallet & etc , than get a kap chai. with all do respect , its an awsome bike to own , its almost all over the world, and the malaysian track even offer trackdays for them n u can pretend u r rossi too. have a blast.

lol

Of course I don't expect 18KM/L .. but 11.5KM/L is .. erm .. a little hard to swallow .. I was expecting at least 14-15KM/L. Anyway this means that there is a high chance that I'll remain a RAT for a few more years .. :p

No Kup Chai for me please!!!!

The average for Gen 2 and Gen 3 is 14-15km/L. But ALL big il4s that are tuned for torque gets that kind of consumption. In comparison, my previous GSXR1000 gave me a steady 18km/l no matter how I rode.

If you compare with any Fazer besides the FZ8, their power comes in above 7000rm and red line is way higher. Low torque in the low and mid but high hp once the revs get up. All the zeds from Gen 1-3 have much much better low-mid torque than any Fazers, meaning better for the street. The FZ8 is tuned for low-mid but 800cc.

Difficult to go long distance like that uh .. 11.5KM/L and 15L tank .. need to polish the bike and helmet to reduce drag

Ya long distance abit leceh. NSH still ok cos got alot of fuel stops. I went Hat Yai with a friend on a GS1200A. I pump he watch! But if really touring must be careful cos you might run out of fuel and no stations nearby. But then again, this is not a touring bike mah : )

i have not rode on a street , but have rode along side a few and i can say it sure gets my respect coming from a speed owner. they r both good bikes and in their respectable classes that has manage to earn a reputation ard the world as also a hooligan bike due to its raw naked streetfighter look. it takes alot of discipline to tame the right wrist even for me most times cause it will sure tempt u to open up further in singapore roads . Even tho i only ride them on weekends , i try to take it out to NSH and just have a good time enjoying the moments when i unleash it.

Hi , Interested in the 2011 street triple R 675 that is going arrive in a couple of weeks. Was quoted 23K otr, wat accessories can i negotiate for? Pls pm me if it is inconvenient to post here. Thanks in advance.

The perfect bike would be a Speed motor in a Street R chasis.

Not that anything is wrong with the Speeds chasis or Streets motor, if you get what I mean.

That's what I have read in a road test in Fast Bikes. Should be a cracking bike the new Speed, I,ve not seen one yet.

Must say I,m tempted, but would need to price it all up.

Anybody interested in a pair of Rizoma Sport Line grips? bought them about 4 weeks ago, fitted them to my Speedie but didn't really like the styling, so took them off the next day. They're as new/unmarked and complete with the adaptors and instructions, but minus the packaging (colour: natural aluminium/black rubber). I'll stick them on the appropriate site in due course, but thought I'd see if anyone here interested. call/sms me 96338472

cheers
