I need as much info as possible in terms of sound, quality and also price

Some say you have to fix the PC3 if you changed to aftermarket pipes as the airflow has changed the rpm would not be stable. Fixing a PC3 will do the job also improves the fuel consumtion effeciently. Is this true? Can anynone comment on this?

today jus had my pipe approved at vicom

remember to get the company stamp n signature on the tech booklet when going for inspection (Leo Vince tech bk)..nearly made a wasted trip there

 

feedback on LV pipe....

Exterior ~ finishing(ie wielding) is not bad but still cannot compare to those high pricing pipes(akra, arrow)

Sound ~ With muffer & a metal plate between mid pipe n end can, jus a bit louder then stock. Heard with plate off, 10~20% deeper tone then stock sound gd

power ~ very slight difference as i already hav my pc3 on

Price ~ i think it's a gd buy

jus talked to them about the leak, he told me the back presure too great thus causing this problem

although not really satisfy with the answer, but he told me will change a new one for me is the problem get worse

 

LD: 1 mechanic is know who know about flapper mod is ah beng from bikeworkz.

depending how u wan to do it, jus remove the hose or remove everything

Full system definitely yes,you have to fix a pc3.

For slip on,you don't need a pc3.But if you fix it,you can feel the difference.

LD, you failed the interview? What happened? Share details pls. Arrow doesn't make CF pipes for RR4/RR5. Deemed too hot and may crack for underseat config. However, Yoshi has a CF pipe. Looks nice.

 

I found a site that sells new PC3 for S$300 plus. Can't remember the URL. Will post it if I come across. Only for certain models.

i didn't fail the interview, just that i couldn't produce the documents they wanted.. and Devil ain't cooperating.

 

i could start from scratch again maybe with blueflame or scorpion but too lazy already.

 

yoshi rs5 CF looks sweet but is not street legal.. since arrow no CF maybe get tit or laser. it's x'mas shopping for my baby.

 

do share the pc3 site if you can find it.

i got PC3 @ $600 with mappaing

but Tashi got a better deal, too bad i bought it before i got the info

 

Tashi: for my opinion, PC3 should come first then pipe if planning to change both of them. But not compulsory to get it

After PC3 installed, feels like enhanced version of fireblade
