Whoever migrated the thread did not capitalize the title correctly, LOL.

Here's a pic of the 600RR9. Design cues from the 1000RR8. The sharper nose looks better. The 1000RR8 shoud be designed like that.

Lovely. Now's a reason to go back to Honda :cheeky:

Photochop again right? :D The left side air intake duct looks a bit distorted.

The sharper nose does look nice, but the headlights need to be bigger. Too much blank plastics up front.

Yeah, at this point, most are just mockups.

Here's a new pic of the V4 bike that will be coming out, and a RR10 with a sharper nose too on the bottom left side of the mag.

1000RR8 Recall

Honda proceeded to a recall of certain 1000 CBR RR for the replacement of the clamp of the hose to pump out water.

The manufacturer states that "the necklace may eventually break fatigue resulting in a leakage of coolant. Coolant spraying then burning the foot of the driver causing a burn."

Period manufacturing / Serial No. Affected:

Model Year 2008

JH2SC59A * 8K020002 ~ JH2SC59A * 8K020662

JH2SC59A * 8M000038 ~ JH2SC59A * 8M013195

JH2SC59B * 8K020001 ~ JH2SC59B * 8K020088

JH2SC59B * 8M000002 ~ JH2SC59A * 8M001687

:slapforehead: so fast 1st recalled???

juz back from 2nd link. this 2008 CBR1000RR is really way to powerful. it can perform a power wheelie on GEAR 2!!! i remember my 04 put alot of stuff but still can't do a power wheelie on GEAR 2!

however down side is that 280km/hr it reaches the climb zone. roughly 2-3km/hr @ 1-2 sec.

Corner was GOOD! another downside is too tall. maybe i used to 04 flat foot on ground... this bike is way too tall, i am not used to it yet. can't estimate my banking angle well...

vrooooom, another round, never slow down

Knock'em down in .01 seconds

Let's leave our mark here and disappear to the next group

The loser's left crawling on the ground in a cloud of dust

The wannabes are all talk, They just get in the way so let's ignore'em

We takes off, beyond the street

Only den they'll know!

The Japanese rider Kuwara was at Sepang testing his HRC-Spec CBR1000 '08. He wasn't just fast,,, he was fooking fast! Can't remember how many times he lapped me at 1 point of time. The bike seemed to 'pop' a bit each time he opened his throttle at corner exits :faint:

I thought the height is almost the same, and the RR8 has narrower a seat, so your feet should be able to touch easily. You need a pillion to run in the shocks.

Full Black, see my siggy. the words is in black :D

i brought 22.5k OTR wat about urs? :D

Which shop did you get from, can recommend me?

i guess its the posture like a 600cc that u have to lean forward u noe.

btw i weight 110kg :giddy:

1 more disadvantage is on my 04 i can rode around 80km den start feel back stress, and hiding the aero dyanmic was easy. on my 08, i can start feeling it around 25km :faint: the posture is too aggressive... hiding the aero was hard for big size guys too. this bike is really unsuitable for BIG SIZE guy!!! :giddy:

it will!!! and it scared the piece of **** out of me!!!

when i was playing in pasir laba back from 2nd link, i rode in the front. when i enter the corner, my friend pump to play the corner n i followed. i drop my gear to gear 2 and pump it up. the front wheel lift off. i scared the piece of **** tot that i will buang n die down there. i nearly shitted my pants.

overall i will say its mid range is super powerful. if u 1 2 play pickup with this bike gotta maintain ur rpm in midrange. the low n top range to me is totally cannot make it. some more the IICA or something (suppose to cut off ur spark plug for 20 miliseconds juz like ignition module, works only between 2500rpm - 6000rpm) will spoilt ur drag race fun, gotta maintian around 8k rpm to get the pure fun out from this demon.

the clutch assistance was good but baggy when playing drag race. the engine brake due to this clutch assist work super dangerous for ppl never use before Slipper clutch. when i first play the bike below 7.5k rpm, engine brake work as fine as my 04 feeling. when i was playing this bike n corner, ( i remember on 1 i enter too fast) drop my gear release the throttle, DARN NO ENGINE BRAKES @ ALL!!! **** my ass out of the pants too!!!

well i am still trying out lots of fun stuff out of this demon, will share with u guys my experience on this baby demon next time.

No aggresive pumping action ok?

Funniest verbs I have heard, cup corner, ram the bike, pump the bike.

Are you talking about your RR4 or RR8?

My RR6 was dynoed at 162 when it was quite new with Arrow slip-on at Loois.

How did you run in your RR8 btw, tach needle below 3,000rpm?

Posted

Yet another VFR mockup. Latest news is leaning towards a V5 sports tourer rather than a V5 supersports, bummer!

Both...

My 04: 151HP & 76 Torr @ TachYong aka Pleasure

My 08: 148HP & 70 Torr @ RaceWerkz

Different dyno place give u different horsepower n torr as this is due to the setup and the wear and tear of the dynojet machine.

i had a friend own a ZX12 goes to txxxxxxxx dyno for 178HP, due to some reason he goes to ax xxxxx currently under Hxx dyno for 210HP. if u ask me who is accurate. i will say get the factors right first. den u go divide n time based on e formula to get the BHP engine horse power! :giddy:
