Dear Bladers,

What do you guys think, whether we should carry on or disband?

it is better to have a few casual meet ups with the bladers 1st b4 deciding whether to go casual or form the club. to know the riders better, their job n commitment n so on.

 

take it slow n steady. no need to hurry.

Yeah, I don't mean to throw a wet towel over Jonest's noble efforts. When it comes to forming clubs, it's one horror story after another.

 

To me, riding is about freedom, forming a club means having rules and being committed eventually, at that point, things may get too rigid to be enjoyable.

 

I prefer organizing casual rides. I wouldn't call this disbanding though, this forum is for bringing people together who enjoy riding. Do not stop engaging other riders here who share similar interests.

But perhaps, if we have a will, we might have a way... It's not a bad idea, but having followed Bro Tashi around for the last few years, I must admit that, even myself can't commit to have an outing every week (he used to organise weekly outing via 2nd link for years, I believe, he still has now! Albeit much lesser) So commitment is one thing, time is another

 

And of cos, missing those great moments (that's me on number 68, I rode the 600rr for 4 years, clocking a massive 100,000km mileage on the beast)

I would suggest we do casual outings as a kick-start, until we had enough bladers around and feels the need to expand, that is where the club comes in...

 

We dont have to organise rides from one point to another so often, maybe small kopi TCSS session in kopitiam to let everyone know each other better, once becoming buddies, it will be alot easier to organise long rides, even forming a club will be easier.

Let's start with small projects like gatherings, makan sessions, TC sessions and Design, printing nice T-shirts to attract more ppl... small projects I still can manage cos my working hrs are really hay wired!

Austin, they is someone there when i reach. Yongster, Ghost and 2malay balders was there too. and i heard Tashi will be going but abit late. Yongster reach there abt 2030hrs....if you wait abit u can see him liao. hehehe....

I was there at 2030hours sharp and saw no one..... was in a bit of shock as i saw quite a no of names on the list..... sitted there and was planning to leave at 2100 hours if still no one turns up..... luckily saufi came....... after tat was dean_predrosa and then ghost and then Denver Dino....... Tashi came on a Honda as well..... bt 4 wheels........

Nice meeting u Tashi.... Thanks again for bringing the tank pad down tat day even thou the weather doesn't look very encouraging..... we shall meet again for a TCSS session........

 

btw, think my problem should be fixed.... went to my mechanic and did a through check... seems that my fuel tube was bent due to the improper fixing of the fuel valve causing the tubing to be bent......

 

My guess is the people at Boon Siew assembled it wrongly when they did the fuel tank recall the other time..... I dun recall doing anything to the fuel tank that could have caused this so far from the time i bought the bike so.......... (u know, i know.......) Anyway, I will do a test smetime this week at NSHW to see whether all gears can clear 9 RPM......

What a drama, MotoGP was postponed due to torrential rain, race should start on Tue 2am SG time.
