Qn 1 : I dun think the temp can get to 110 c... I can leave mine idling for a while bt the max it goes is 106 - 108 c.....normal travelling temp is about 75c - 82c......

 

That's why I think there's something odd abt the bike for it to reach 110c, I reckon maybe the coolant level is low or something. Whilst that might not be a major issue, it may be signs of neglect and may be associated with other problems..

 

Qn 2 - Maybe just the bulb fuse or smething.... tat is not a big issue and can be replaced...

 

Qn - Is the engine leaking? If not, it depends whether you are willing to bear with the cosmectic defect......

If you want to change the engine casing, there will be at least a few hundred dollars...... as for engine condition, u probably have to ride it for a while b4 u can really tell........Most significant would be any weird sound coming from the engine....... Look for those sure tell signs whether bike has been in a major accident like welding marks on main frame or sub frame. Forks, brake discs, radiator are also parts that are likely to be hit first in an accident......

 

The engine isn't leaking so I think it's just cosmetic, but I wanted to find out the cost so I can barter with the owner, .

 

If you can wait, i will be letting go my 06 in 2 months time.... condition is well-taken care of and not been in any accident under my care......

 

It might be possible but only if the current bike I am waiting for is sold by the time I pass my CL2..

Just shift your butt and knee down to the left or right accordingly to counter balance the bike lor. And also push your body to the front, either front left of front right.

try shifting your leg back a bit during cornering.. I'm using Vortex footrests, toe slider sometimes still kana

kinwei is right... instead of leaning out your body, you shud shift out your butt.. your body & your knee will 'auto' after that...

coz my stays at 1k+ all the way @ idle, neither increase nor decreaes whether day or night during start ups....

Almost all FI vehicle comes with auto choke feature. That is why you cannot find choke switch anymore. By right during cold start , the rpm should be around 1.5krpm or higher. Maybe your auto choke feature is spoilt aready. Not uncommon but mainly for the Gixxer. If your bike can start everytime, even on a very cold engine then you can just ignore it. Not a big issue.

rr05 total fuel capacity is 18L ar? and reserve tank is 3L?

 

my reserve tank fuel light everytime lights up when it left 6L.

 

at first i thought my FC was so bad that could only reach 200km then the fuel lights on. But when i pump, i only able to pump up to 12L only. Which means 12L for 200km still ok for the FC right??

 

can the fuel meter be adjusted??? it lights up too early when a 6L still left..

It actually the same thing. The auto choke will auto activate when you start your bike. It up to the ECU to determine how long it gonna run by some pre-defined variables, which I think one of it might be the engine temperature.

 

I'm sure your R6 have the auto choke feature as I have seen it on Stanley's R6.
