Hi, I'm selling my KNN air filter for $80. Anyone interested?

Don't need that much power, plus I ride everyday, so I prefer better mileage.

Mileage will drop by 20km+ after installation.

Mind if I ask you what's the RR4's mileage to reserve, bone stock?

what bout R1?

With more hard riding, 230km.

With mostly gentle riding, about 250km.

If I remembered it correctly, should be something like below.

V Power = 19x km

Petronas = 21x km

Esso F1 = 23x km

Wow. V-Power is a burner alright.... :giddy:

Hmm... the Esso vs Petronas results make me a bit :giddy: .

From my exp, Petronas gives me slightly better results than Esso. Given similar riding styles, Petronas gives me a +5 to 10 km more than Esso.

Right now, I'm getting mid 240s from Petronas. With Esso, I get high 230s.

2004 CBR1000RR

14.4 km/l (M'sia V-Power)

15.9 km/l (Petronas)

16.8 km/l (M'sia Esso F1)

With pillion everyday, mix of easy and hard riding.

There you go, found it.

Try this. Don't mix petrols.

Use Petronas for a full tank, make sure you bring your rev to 5k and above. Feel the handle bars for vibration.

After that, use Esso, you can feel the bars don't vibrate as much. I find Esso smoother.

Even V Power feels rough.

I'm very sensitive to my blade, when something is not right, I feel it immediately.

190 ah, thats really thirsty. U must have been doing pretty hard riding.

try fuel with lower octane will improve ur FC.

I had also switched to esso liao, hahaha, still monitoring the FC but i always pump petrol at 200km mark. dun like to wait & wait and calculate how much more i can go.

Yep, your mileage with V Power is consistent with what I'm getting. Multiply my FC with 14, and you'll get the mileage when you hit reserve. My reserve is 4L.

My daily rev ranges from 3k to 7k, once I hit JB, I hit 11k.

Didn't try Caltex. Someone told me also quite rough, so I didn't want to try. Caltex buys petrol from ExxoMobill and then put in their own addictives.
