was browsing thru the used bike sales ...i dun seem to see any 08/09/10 CBR 1000 on sale leh ...........how come ??

Hideaway I met into something like urs too .. A lady smsing while driving suddenly swerved into me .. Had to slam brakes too -.-

 

Anyway bros pls pls ride safe .. My fren riding x11 just met into an accident .. Was making a right turn on broadday light and dry roads .. Bike skidded and he rolled and a lorry went over him .. 7 broken ribs and 1 punctured kidney .. Fking suay .. Now he dun dare to ride .. Traumatized

For example the LTA cameras mounted on the lampost, etc. Hope there is some lead to this that may assist to back up your claim.

 

Seriously, everyone should consider mounting their handphone near the speedometer and recording their journey. Given the way people drive nowadays, it is really dangerous for us two-wheelers.

Seriously there is no reason to sell away the bike to get another 1000cc bike unless you are talking about moving on to something else, i.e buying a car, etc.

 

It is an awesome bike. Just look up the youtube videos of superbike showdows 08-09, Honda tops it.

Just installed a slip on, and the feeling of heavy engine break during closing of throttle is gone. Sounds much much better.

The acceleration is much smoother than the stock exhaust.

Another catergory of drivers I siam is those driving Mercs, BMWs, Jags, Volvos, Audis, luxury cars.... Think they ****ing own the roads coz their cars are expensive and big.... Knnz.... I drive a trailer run over them their expensive and big cars also become scrape metal.... *PUI*

He already claimed against me. :@ and i tried asking him but the guy just ignored me and hailed another cab. Despite seeing the accident right in front of his eyes!

There was an sbs bus who might witness the accident. And i've tried going down to the interchanges and wrote in to them too. Hopefully the driver is willing to come forward. It all depends on him now. *prays hard*

Ya, vibrate a lot on the foot rest. I got the Leo Vince GP pro Evo II. sound nice to me as compared to the sbk factory.

Sindefectos, I hope you can resolve the situation soon, but looks like it's gonna take awhile.

 

The guy who hailed for the cab and the cabbie, both are @$$3$. Seeing how parents bring up their kids these days, I'm not surprised.

 

Unfortunately a couple of days ago, I was rear ended by a cabbie as well. I was at the lights, it turned green, before I could move off, the cab behind me bumped onto my back tire and rear plate. Good thing I did not drop the bike, only the rear plate was dented and took $20 to replace. He paid for it as well.

 

The trick is, don't panic, take control of the situation quickly, so they have no room to manoeuvre their way out.

 

Also I think my HRC Blade and number plate too fierce already, he got scared and confessed on the spot.

If I were your friend, I might give up riding too. Maybe buy a Serta mattress and lie down in bed for the rest of my life.
