**;6330169']hi will like to know if gsr headlight will be able to fit on s4 cause looking for a healight that be able to put hid other than original .

gsr headlight also not suitable to put HID. anyway, got $$, of cos can mount the headlights.

**;6330202']even the original headlight also cannot put HID ?

i nv say cannot, just that normal headlights with reflectors not meant for HID, your light throw will be everywhere, irritating alot of road users. its better to use projectors. but of cos, if your objective is to irritate pple on the road, then yeah, objective is met if you use normal headlight casing.

another mod you can consider is, using the stock headlight casing, fit in a projector light, black out the reflectors and install HID.

price ranges from tens of $ to hundreds.. depending on how much you can get the projectors (best if find another buddy to share the cost of the projectors, normally comes in a pair, can ask limbat, i think he have) and workmanship also.. you are going to save alot if you are able to diy and save the hassle of finding someone to do also (cos i guess not many pple are willing to do this)

if the stock headlight hole is not big enough to put the projector through you got to be prepared to drill it slightly bigger.

just sharing info. correct me if i am wrong. if you serious in doing this project and are looking for projectors drop me a pm, maybe i can help.

I've found a rear tyre hugger and will be getting it from HLC. The hugger comes stock in black/carbon fibre paint. My bike is a red tri colour revo.

Should I put the hugger on black stock or get it painted red to suit the bikes colour. What do you suggest?

Do a similar tri-color on your hugger... Sides all the way red, a patch of white in the middle followed by black lining in between the red and white.

Yepz...

Well, you can try some old sch moto shops and who know's if you're lucky you might find it. Its a very retro design.

Thanks for your feedback Fazli. Yes that's a good idea but I think it will be costly and I will be putting it on the stock colour it comes as I was just flicking thru the motorcycles of 2009 magazine and every single motorbike which had a rear hugger was in black.

Thanks,

Ahmet

No prob... Maybe can try with sticker sheets instead rather than spray.

that feasible only if the base colour is correct colour. otherwise its about the same price. i asked about my headlight cowling before, paste the whole cowling single colour, $90. spray single colour, $80.

I asked for my bike to be pasted with stickers like the new Bold'or design and its gonna cost me $180. New single colour paintwork costs me almost $300.
