if u really go and buy, pls dun install there, if not they anyhow slice ur wire from main wire harness see liao very heart pain.

If you don't need the height from the bars and want a sportier posture, no need get risers. Just change to non-Vtec handlebars and you're good to go. And if you stil have the OEM nut in your handlebars, remove them and install in your new bars. Then you can fit in Honda specific balancers due to the slot cut in the nut.

 

But if you want the height to have a more comfortable riding posture, just get the risers of about 25-30mm rise. No other modifications needed.

 

I would recommend you BST Racing UK risers from Ebay. Me and ldslds are using these. They come in 20mm, 25mm and 30mm aluminium or black. Longer bolts included. Cost me around S$80.

Yeah it's pretty cheap compared to the others out there. Haven't received them yet. Will post pics and advise once they have been fitted to the bike.

Yep I did and love the new foot pegs. Put on a black lsl street peg set, cost about $50.

This is to add on to your OEM bar clamp to increase the height. Between the lower bar clamp and the handle bar. Can get it from ebay.

Got these from JB for RM400 but the braking is not so good as the brake pump is strong enuf for Class 2B bikes only. Changed to Star Performance Brake Hose this morning @ Unique Motors. The braking effect is still not effective. I gotta upgrade my brake pump or use back my original brake pump for better braking effects. Lesson Learnt.

I intend to get a new handlebar together with clamp as currently mine is rusty and the big old IU holder is screw on to the left side of the clamp.

Any recommendation for the brand, dimension and which shop to do it?

Just stick to OEM bars and clamp. Unless you want aftermarke bars like Renthal, Driven, Rizoma and such. My IU bracket is on the same position too. If you want to relocate it elsewhere can try go Seng Kwang to customise a bracket for you.

Unless you wanna change longer cables and hoses. Cables can go for Africa Twin and hoses can go for any aftermarket braided ones...
