Yup. Im getting it in September when I go there for my daughter's wedding.

Its about US$160 which is very expensive.

Going to change my front tires (120/80/17) next weekend.

Should I get a Dunlop 555 or a Metzeler 880 Marathon?

 

My current tire is the Dunlop but Im hearing good reviews on the Metz

both here in Asia and in the USA.

 

Any feedback guys?

Hi Smooth. Been thinking about your project with the ape hanger.

Here's my 2 cents worth. The magna is designed to look like a power cruiser.

Ape bars go very well with "retro" look cruisers like Harleys, shadows or steeds.

My suggestion is to go with risers and dragbar type of handle bars.

They go great with magnas and give it a sleek and sporty look. I actually tried

installing one before but the risers fell too short so I had to scrap the project temporarily. I am going to get one in the US when I go there in September.

What design? Flames? Tribal? I got a tribal design sticker on my tank

and rear fender. I still have to find time to lay a topcoat on it.

 

I love chroming. Gives it that classy, expensive look. Always a head turner

anywhere I park it.

i opt for flame,and chrome the both rim and folk slider...ya will post pic when its done....i guess takes 3 to 5 weeks...currently riding my 250cc scooter.

Rainy season's coming up and not much riding to do. Might do more chroming

jobs like the risers, triple tree and some small clamps and brackets.

Now if I can just find time to do these. Hahahahaha....

The majesty was my second choice. It was a tough decision.

In the end, It was the front of the forza, which looked like an F4i, that made me choose it. Funny too, the color is exactly the same as my Magna. What a coincidence or was it fate? Hahahaha...

hi guys my magna is almost done,went out to jb to check e paint job,not satisfied sob..and the rim also just polish...those guy said crome cant last...hopefully can get my bike by this tuesday,will post pic by then.

My wheels were hard chromed last February and there's no problem with it.

I just clean it with water. Polished rims are ok but its maintenance heavy.

I think you should insist on chrome if they can do it. The customer is always right.
