Check with Mah Motors... But it'nt cheap and you still require some customization to have it mounted to a S4.

[Q] Where is the best place to buy Givi Boxes, Head Fairing and Belly Pan?

 

Hello guys, I recently got a Spec II and I'd like to know where is the best place (i.e. the cheapest and most reliable place) to install Givi Top Box and Side Box. Also, I want to install a Belly Pan and the full head fairing (i.e. the Spec III one) but I don't know where to go. Does anyone know where is a good place to go?

Givi boxes are relatively almost the same price everywhere.

Mah for the distributor but the price aint cheap, LAB maybe for some price haggling bt model limited?

 

As for installing, most bike shop mechs can do, bt the question would be, how and whether sturdy or nt.

There's no pannier(side box) kit specific for S4 for any brand across.

So either is go SKMIC or Ah Ann to fabricate support brackets for the mounting plate/tube(i.e. Wingrack or Universal rack) in order for the rack nt to flex when OTR.

 

FYI, Spec II does nt hv the ideal support bracket bolt point as most will use the bungee cord hook point to bolt. That is the weak point on the rear frame and it'll(the frame) break if overload.

 

For Belly Pan, can be bought frm LAB/Regina, bt be warn of their appointed shop to install for you.

To each his own preference thou.

 

Full head fairing(i.e. the Spec III one), shld be the Bol d'Or version you're talking abt if Im nt wrong?

That is model specific, meaning, created for that bike, if you wana mod, the whole headset is abt 1K+/-? or maybe more, correct me if Im wrong please.

gota chk stock frm the stockist thou.

Oh, think gota weld some brackets to mount the head center & side also.

 

Unless you're talking abt those wind shields, brands avail would be Givi, Puig just to name a couple.

I jus sold my spec 1. Previously installed hepco panniers rack on it. If u ok with

Hepco, i still have e rack with me. Spec 2 n 1 is v similar so i think minimal mod needed.

I spent 140 to install it at sengkwang.

I am struggling with putting a storage box/ saddle bag for my spec 2. Just have this feeling that the bike looks much nicer now that it is naked. I went to Motorworld and there is this Hecko style top box that cost $450. Any idea how much is it to get a rack for this box and where?

 

I am also keen in buying a whole set of rack/ box and baseplate from anyone. Please PM or sms me ! cheers!

Anyone here knows where i can install custom racks? I havent got the boxes but have a neat idea on what i want to have on my bike.. Preferably givi side and top box racks, any place where i can come just show them what i want and they can make'em??

Its pricy, but you can ask them to design the artifact as per your specific design. If you bring your own drawings, even better...

Also they have very good workmanship.
