My friend, David, used to had a model shop..

His models stock pile was huge..

 

he'll be selling his models at jaw drop prices..

eg: the ZX-RR selling at $45.. shops selling at at least $50plus..

 

i have arranged with him on the 4th Jan 2009 to go his place if anyone is interested in the models.. time will be 12noon onwards..

 

besides bikes, there are cars, tanks, planes and gundams.. from various brands like Tamiya, Bandai, Fujimi and Aoshima..

tamiya paint and normal spray paint sold at paint or hardware shop, what is the diff? if i just need normal primary colors , need i go buy the tamiya paint.

actually want to just assembled the bike, but after seeing such nice work here from some of our brothers, i think i think i need to do better hehehe .

my truck celebrated his 20th anniversary this year.

"Clod Buster" Monster Truck, 1989 production.

 

i would like to ask those with knowledge and experience.

are there mod options available for my truck?

like faster motor etc?

 

i jus took it out frm shelf today.

dusty n full of webs. lol.

but thumbs up to tamiya, quality.

after 20 years, "buster" is still running.

it cost near $300 then, now i say its worth every dollar.

Really impressed that the car still works well after 10yrs. The boss Tony of Stargek told me that no matter how old is the tamiya R/C do not throw it away or dump it , it is valuable.

ESC shld be electronic system control i think. like motorbike CDI or ECU.

Stargek is the tamiya agent for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.Next door to Yamaha showroom ubi road, please do not U turn at the junction coz i kena illegal U turn when i went there.

Firstly is, does ur monster truck comes with a seperate ESC?? If it comes with, it's probably in circuit board form and nt changeable..

anyway mine is a 20yr ol model.. i think obselete already lol..

i dunch knw anything abt RC cars.. only rmbr getting it fr my 8th bday.. haha -_-" well the truck works fine.. jus the when reversing, its nt smooth n fast as b4.. i stripped the truck yest to check the gears n such.. everything is in plc n in gd condition still.. err.. could it b d motor?

nvm la, call me at 98000285 and we can drop by to Stargek, there is a "mech" to help u with necessary repairs.

 

i was playing with the idea of changing the ESC to forward/reverse and a TZ motor.
