Singaporeans like to feel good about being able to haggle the price down. As long as it is cheaper than the original price, they shiok with themselves. I guess it is the culture.

 

Very time consuming. And I dun have much time, everything else got but time dun have.

i used to sell things thru internet and i face the same problem as you did.

 

Tried the marking up method and let them haggle. Proves much more effective. hee. Sometimes can sell at a better than you expected. ^^

finally i know that in life u can't trust everyone. g0t 1 fren act brother brother. then i put 1 girl de pic as my display pic in msn. then my friend put also. then i say hahaha. copy me ar?. then he say got copyright meh? then after i talk back to her for few mins. he went offline. i ask another friend if he got online. he did online. wad a coward. if not happy with me by all means come and talk to me. he's only 16 and he behave as if he is ball-less. call himself a man. go be shemale better. ahahaha.

there's a new culture i encountered lately. A guy agreed to buy my stuffs at $1250. Upon collection time, he came in a WRX. He asked for sliders(front axle/rear axle/frame) to be given to him as well. I quoted him $1300 for the sliders to be thrown in as well. Then he said he brought $1200 only. Tell me to appreciate he deal with cash. Well, I guess $1200 is already $50 short for the agreed items, still want more. Funny huh. $50 to buy license to look down upon someone, thats the price I can live with. I let him take the initially agreed items at a further $50 discount. Before that, I already given him $200 discount before hand. Some ppl....

i've been thru such things maybe not ur type but certainly not any better..
