I have a 7/8" Cafe Racer Ace handle bar for sale, used to fit it on my RXK.

What is the going rate for a RD350 tong now?

 

I have been looking for a 350 tong myself, been looking around and see that those that are for sale are not in very good condition and are very over priced. I was told that a bike shop has one for sale but it is not running, needs lots of engine work, and the shop wants 3.5K for it. That's too much for a non runner surely?

 

How much more will a new owner need to fork out just to get it running again? Parts are also hard to find and even if they are still available from Japan, will need to be ordered.

 

From my recent interest in this bike, I have looked around found that many local owners are building up their tong's these days. You can still see these bikes for sale at many bike shops in Ubi, Yunos and Amk Park 2 vicinity. All about the 3K to 3.5K region.

 

I am still looking for a decent one..................

I may have one for sale in teh new year.

 

Working on the rebuild now, but hav eth ypvs and ducati to feed, so will probably let the tong go.

 

Going for classic LC race style with the rebuild. And LOTS of new parts!

Thought I would post up some pics of my 1969 T250. It doesnt really fit into sports bikes or naked bikes but it's worth a look at.

Bike runs a one piece tank seat combo, honda CB350g front end and monster 32mm Mikunis. I will be making up a new set of chambers soon out of stainless steel and will be trying to source some silencers for road work so If you know of any suppliers let me know as they are hard to find here in Oz. Oil burners are becoming a dying breed. I'm really going to miss the smell of Castrol R.
