Well...it's true any bike can be a cafe. You've got the looks but no substance. What I meant is not the power of the bike but the feel and the sound of that exhaust. It make a whole lot of difif its a cafe CB350 or a 250 nighthawk... You've got to decide.... You have to go whole hearted into the project...

 

For me, It was not love at 1st sight when I saw my cb250n. It was the sound of the exhaust that make me turn this junk into a cafe racer... :thumb:

 

Got all the part already, waiting the tank to reach sg than my project will start!

Hello everyone..

I have AT plate year 1977 Cg110 convert to 125cc block mod to cafe racer style with change alot of stuff like front fork (disc break, British bike tank from TRIUMPH 350, lucas head light, seat and 1 rear cafe racer seat style cover and cafe racer handle bar ) Engine is in really tip top cond. Change to a new original carb about 6 month ago. Bike come with all the stock parts also. Bike really mod to cafe style and all the bike need a new paintwork and a appriciate new owner. Its really a great bike. Very hard to be apart with it but no choice. Selling coz wanna get a bigger cc bike. Im asking for $2k and price is nego. Coe end i think 2012 and juz went for inspection last month but bike is lay up now so if anyone interested, pls call me to arrange for viewing and test ride. Sorry guys, no pic for the bike. Hello marco, wow nice tank.......

 

I know why you dont like the tank bcos the front part is bit high that y. So is abit funny and not nice lo. Your handler bar and meter is high so not nice lah. If you intend to convert into cafe and sometik diff in s'pore, drop the whole front fork for clip-on, remove the headlight cover then change the meter to sometik small. Mill off the top triple clamp and make it flat. Shorten the rear mud guard and off with the big signal lights. Remove the side covers with something else.

 

So i tik you should keep the tank first, even you have the long cafe style tank like the posting you post, the cb350f and cb500 tank, it will not be nice cos you are keeping to stock items.......mah.

 

If you going for cafe make it diff and off with the stock man......

Have you seen a stock cafe racer??? no right...........

 

Again nice tank man......the tank got the round depression can fit the honda emblem leh......do the unexpected wo.......

Yap, this is the one. Looks a bit dusty now though. Not a Harley lover but this is one exception. Love the simplicity of it. Owner clearly knows what he is going for. Hey Marco, work out what you want for your 350 man, you have enough parts to do a different style every few years but dun put everything in one dude. Btw, cool tank and i totally agree with YD72, do the unexpected. Make it your own custom ride from the rest. : )

I agree with Chris too Marco. Its your meter and headlight tat is too high. Your cafe tank is narrow, it makes ur 350 Engine more outstanding than ur stock tank... Cafe rocks, mod all the way. BTW Happy new year to all the guys... Cheers..
