Good thing I went to ask and let them test, is actually not much difference with or without dB killer, just a bit more beefier sound and is still within exhaust noise spec in singapore, also some repo

Looking for alternatives for a good braking system besides EBC ... I went to motoworld earliear afternoon to check on other alternatives for our front brake pads and rear brake shoes! ... So found this matching at motorworld for the front pads ... but still unable to get for our rear brake shoes...

Attch pic is the model of the sbs ceramic pad (671SQ) .. pic on the left of it is our original stock that had worn off.

 

Happens if I'm free to go to the other distributor at Dickson Rd .. will check if they have for our rear brake shoes ... :cheers:

 

Btw .. price for the pad is $45 stated on the packet but I got it for $30 ..... :thumb:

 

Ceramic pad ....

Stable brake performance, high level of comfort and long-lasting brake pads and rotor friendliness under various conditions such as wet roads, changing temperatures and different brake pressures.

Recommended for earlier Sport, Touring and Custom models as well as daily transport and touring on small motorcycles which are mainly not originally equipped with sinter metal brake pads.

Examples: Honda CN & CB, Kawasaki EN & KZ, Suzuki GN & GS, Yamaha XS & XJ and Harley Davidson’s.

Combined with the HF front brake lining the LF lining ensures a stable and well-balanced brake performance. To avoid excessive braking of the rear wheel, the friction level of the LF lining is adjusted to match the friction characteristics of the HF lining.

 

The other material is called Sinter pad ... Very good but can damaged your rotor disc faster!!
