dont think TP or inspection care what type of signal u got, as long it flashes n does not blind ppl, n must be orange.

bro, how to do point #2 ? need to start the engine or just step on the kick start a few times without starting the engine?

 

no need to start engine can do ... last post I stated to ON key is bcos UG4 and P200 does not have a kick start so need to ON key to crank the engine.

For UG3 and below just kick start few times will do .. this is to move the engine and thus will allow the more excess eo to flow out.

Normally most mechs knows about this but they don't bother since you guys don't ask them to do .. heheheh.

For Ah Tek he knows my style .. so he will do that before he fill up the new EO.... reasons why you need to stick to one mech so they understand you better and know what your expectations on your bike... but don't be too kiasu lah until little things also you want to complain this and that .. hahahah .. all matters we are humans ... for sure cannot get perfect one! .. hehehe

 

Oh .. regards to your other question .. no oil won't it spoil the engine? ... no worries lah like arthur said .. we are not running around the bike lah ...

but to add on on the matter ..

actually if you used FS eo .. no worries lah if your engine run without EO for a while since FC have an additives to protect the surface agaist friction. Reasons why I brought in the Xado Turbo eo conditioner ..as this contioner (Xado Turbo ) stay on the metal surface as additional protection!

And for arthur he's using Motor Up engine conditioner that works the same priciples ... heheheh

There's a lot of engine treatment in the market ... choose wisely though.

But do note ..although it can run without EO for a few clicks but still it's NOT adviseable to let your engine run without the EO!!

so stopped by the road side to keep my wallet and phone in the box

since i am already super wet i decided to ride just continue ride home

just as i was about to move off a lorry went pass

and the workers behind the lorry pointed their fingers at the us(the bikers who stopped by the road side,some to wear rain coat) and starting laughing at us...

damn :angry::angry:

if i am not in my no. 4 i would have shown them the middle finger and chase up to them to scold them...

 

also time to buy new gortex boots liao

leaking water in at some points

also rain so heavy that my socks are so soaked that the water accumulated in my gortex boots

turn my boots over can pour out water like cup like that...

relax bro, u always encounter these kind of ppl. wait till they stuck in traffic then u can laugh back at them, lane split n stop beside them laugh n move off.

 

when i saw rain i just stayed in office until it stop. not like i'm going anywhere, just surfing the net n njoy the air con not forgetting my hot cup of tea.

I have travelled almost 10K kms since last servicing at UM, about 8 months ago. So I am opening the air filter after 10k kms.

 

ok 10k seems reasonable. seems like if u always go on high speed, it will happen too.

as for mine, although older, never had a drop of oil.

 

just like nose bleed, could be minor, could be fatal, depend where the bleed is from.

i dont know how long he travelled to discover this problem, but from the pic it's leaking like that, quite scarry. also his mention of eo level dropping, it's indication of leakage.

 

In the first place, we have to know our bike ... and maintain before it does any harm ...

manual stated on every 2500km you need to check and Clean the AF and the airbox...

manual stated every 10000km .. need to Replace

 

6. Air cleaner element CL (clean) 2500 km (subsequently)

7. Air cleaner element R (Replace) Every 10000 km (subsequently)

..... (UG3 manual page 14)

 

I said normal is becos if there is excessive eo during the Blow-By Gas .. the eo will go into the airbox and will affect the stock AF. Any excess in the airbox will flow into the drain tube under the engine for Pulsar since our bike does not have the filter reservoir.

 

check this clip and see the stock Ninja 250 before changing to KNN AF ... CHEERS!
