ok here are the diagrams for the bypass...

 

the number 1 'B' wire after coming out from the coil goes to the CDI then to the Tacho(see speedo & tacho circuit number 3)

the number 2 'W/R' wire coming out from the CDI goes to the pulser coil

need to change the stock set up from

Tacho-coil-CDI

to

Tacho-pulser(through the CDI 'W/R' wire)

 

look at the main circuit diagram, the 'B' wire comes out from the tacho and goes to the CDI with a parallel one to the coil

so the tacho wire needs to go into the 'W/R' slot on the CDI to connect direct to the pulser coil

What puzzles me is the specs of the duke 125, in Europe they restrict the hp to 15 cos of the regulations there which pretty much limits what the bike can do. I read from MJ that local bikes here are not restricted, that makes me wonder what the 125cc powerplant is capable of. 18hp?? If so then it's a nice ride.

Does it really matter? It's not 30hp anyway...what is required is the torque and good handling for our urban ride. Of all, you are happy riding.

but hard to spot leh...

if see a group of pulsar come over say high lah...

my is easy to spot...

full black,3 boxes,with 4 aux lights(2 on crash bar,2 under my head fairing),my name and my gf's name on my head fairing...

or look for uncle mj's bike lah...

either full red fairing pulsar or if he had taken it out then sampan belly pan pulsar with 3 boxes and a "smiling" headlight...
