hello all. I am the new owner of speedaddict's pulsar hahaha.

Im a total newbie here but i'm having problems with kicking down the gears with the pulsar. Speedaddict had no problems with it. Like i can change to high gear but i cant kick it down =[

May be need to just adjust the clutch free play to tighten it a bit.

sometimes u gotta let the clutch out abit then clutch it again and kick down, or try to blip the throttle a bit to see if it helps.

Hi zhangyi, finally ure on thr forum lol. Play with clutch n throttle like i told u and maybr u can gp service and adjust the clutch to fit a comfortable biting point. Since mine was a bit too far maybe missed the biting point before u change gear.

PORTED SLIDER UPDATE

 

There has been a delay in the slider

due to heavy rain and delay in the arrival of the parts...

will update again once i have any updates...

thank you for your quick responses! I tried it around my neighbourhood, and i'm sorta getting the hang of it although the gear shift is still pretty stubborn.

 

As for the clutch and servicing, can i just do it at Heng Motors cuz its like just 5 mins from my house. Im afraid i wont be able to make it to Universal Motors haha.

If it's adjustments, I think Heng shouldn't be a problem.

However if there are parts to be replaced, then you would need to head down to UM.

 

Talking about Heng, I drove by Changi Road afternoon and saw so many used bikes for sale from Heng, to M1 to ASP. Macam like Xmas to me, my eyes all light up. Sadly though was running errands and didn't have a chance to stop and browse.

means your bike is too hot...

does this happen often?

yours is p200

so check your EO level...

since P200 uses the EO to help to dissipate the heat from the engine through the radiator...

if your EO level too low it might light up

if not might just be you ride it long enough to let the engine heat up...

just stop and let the engine cool down awhile then carry on...

btw did you ride your bike hard for long period of time?

1) Air filter dirty/choke indicator

2) Engine overheat indicator

3) Battery indicator(means battery low)

4) Oil indicator(EO very very dirty)
