Before the BKE exit on PIE, there was a LTA on a bike tailing MJ. I wanted to inform MJ but sadly my bike ran out of steam cos of the slope. He was looking at the back of your bike.

i accident and skidded a couple of times during my younger age ... at that time just wearing open face helmet, casual shoes, jeans, a half gloves and a windbreaker most of the time

 

now i have 2 broken tooth, slanted jaw, stitches scar on my lips and fingers, scars on my knee, thigh and elbow .. the fate and luck on me is that i don't have any broken bones yet!! ..

 

so now still hoping for the safe ride each time on my bike cos the hurt is not only me but the loves one at home!! ...

 

anyway choice is yours ....

just found out that HDB fine me 25 dollars for duno what. didnt get the summon slip. anyone knows how to check what offence is it for?

searched through the web and LTA website never state that change rear drum brake to disc is illegal...

under e-service->motorist

go under pay fine and enter the notice number should have the details...

If it's not from manufacturer, it will be considered an unapproved modification.

This is a blanket clause they can use for any bike. Includes modifications to lights, exhaust, tank, even handle bars if they wanted to.

 

Personally, although it's probably due to cost that Bajaj omitted the rear disc brakes, I wouldn't advise you to mod it. During inspection, they can fail you cos it's not stock brake from Bajaj.

 

On the road, if the LTA officer knows a little about Bajaj, he can stop you and ask you to go for inspection right away.

 

Worse still, if you get into an accident and the surveyor checks your bike and finds out you modded your brakes, he can disallow any claims.

 

So the question is, is it all worth it.

any form of LED are illegal except those comes with stock like your rear and brake light!! ...

 

basically they close one eye if not too distracting to other road users .... but if you are unlucky no matter what, time to kena sure will kena ... easy said what ever you add on be it in spore or even malaysia .. it's your own risk !!
