Yesterday i smiled at a green hornet pulsar! who was it!

And for the btwo ysted. I pass by the shop but then seeing no pulsars park over there. I just went back home.

Who did you buy from ? Through a friend living there ? Cause when I enquired I was told by most shops that I neded to place a bulk order, that they wouldn't sell the parts one by one..

Yuh its republic poly, i see quite a number of p200. Not those normal stock but some with a Nobi pipe, and theresone with a really fat rear battlax tyre with very nice decals!

And yuh i always pass by there ad my workplace is at near still road.

Thought I could book the BBQ pit 2 days in advance but the online booking requires you book at least 4days in advance. So yesterday when I wanted to book with the Parks it was too late, sorry guys I don't plan this well.

 

The BBQ is hence post poned to next Saturday instead of tomorrow.

Anyone selling stock mirrors? I just cracked my left side mirror while trying to adjust it

It was a cheap 8$ RXZ mirror pair bought from Ah boy

It was my stupidity though that caused it. I pressed the glass while trying to adjust, like I used to do with the stock ones

 

If no one selling I am going to get a used pair of Spark/Rxz/ybr mirrors from the garage sale section. Just found one for spark selling for 6$

Hey guys,

 

Just had an accident while I was coming back from home from lunch.

At a traffic light I was going straight and it was turning from green to amber, so I decided to cross the light, then suddenly from the opposite side I see a car taking a right turn. I was too fast and although I braked, I hit his rear left side and his car got some bad scratches. My bike is fine and I managed control the bike and stay upright without falling.

 

Both the driver and me exchanged contact details and IC numbers, but I forgot to take his license plate number.

Both of us dont have any witnesses.

 

Please advice what to do next?

I called up insurance and they told me to report to IDAC within 24 hrs, I am planning to go tomorrow

 

I am actually really thankful to god that I was able to balance the bike and stay upright, if I fell not only bike damage and any rashes on my skin, my wife will know about the accident and permanently ban me from riding .

It was a really hard impact and there are 2 deep and long scratches on his car, caused by my clutch lever and handlebar balancer I guess, but not a single scratch on my bike.

 

I know I should have slowed and I still cant believe that the accident happened. I am normally very watchful, but this place was like I was in the center lane and riding at about 50-60 kms/hr and there were lots of cars on my right and hence I was blinded and couldn't really see the opposite direction until it was too late and same like me the opposite car couldnt see me because of lots of cars on my right until it was too late.

 

But the shocking thing is the place of impact, I hit him at the rear right side(near the petrol cap), I am just wondering, if I couldn't slow down and if I was faster, he would have hit me head on. I wouldn't have been typing all this if that had happened.

 

This incident will make me really more careful on the road.

revhappy: Glad you're ok. We can never be too careful on the road. As careful as we can be, all it takes for an accident to happen is a careless third party.

guys do remember to slow down,be alert and flash high beam repeatedly and also do use the horn when coming towards a junction ..all these will helps us bikers to be seen and heard ...

 

we are invicible to other road users but yet not invicible upon impact during impact against them ...
