thank you for enlighten the brand .. both are bajaj suppliers .. before mrf, eurogrip tyres was introduced to 150 pulsar but than change to mrf for p180 before coming back to eurogrip for 200ns .. but imho if u ask me after reading the feedbacks by our indian riders , seriously both mrf or eurogrip does not really good on our wet road condition as others bridgestone, dunlop and shinko but if you looking for best top speed on pulsar, than stock mrf or eurogrip will deliver .... :)

Actually, the Eurogrip tyres on the NS are a different model from the ones previously seen on earlier Pulsar models.

They have a harder coumpound than the MRF. MRF are consider softer.

The eurogrips do - according to indian riders - really well in rain, even super heavy moonsoon rain. But they suck on dry roads or dusty-sandy roads. A few reported some fishtailing even at low speeds.

One thing important when changing the NS tyres that seem to come back in all the info I read, is to not upsize the tyres as it will affect the bike's straightline stability ans the steering. Need to read more about this bit to understand better.

In the end what matters is your experience of the ride: the minute you get a slippery tyre, feel the grip is loosing in a corner or are not comfortable with the grip, change right away. Some riders can ride with tyres other riders keep loosing grip with. It all depends on your riding style and what you do with the bike.

We know the MRF on the P180-200 are a skid trap for SG roads. But so far we haven't heard much about how these Eurogrips from the NS perform here..

Anyone recommends using the stock for running in engine, and changing to better ones after engine's good to go?

Road hogger @ 50km/h on 4th lane

A bike can go up till 200km/h, can the rider go up till 200km/h o_O

Hi, it's not really linked as you can skid even at a low running in speed. And add the fact that you are either a new 2B rider, or new to the bike, so probably not yet grasped full control and handling of the bike.

It's all about the safety and comfort of your ride. I don't know about the NS, how bad the tyres in SG, but if you ride a previous version of Pulsars with MRF tyres, don't wait and change.

Also note that the running in period isn't gonna make any difference on the tyres state: the mileage is too low and the roads too good to impact the tyre quality. So even if you change to brand new tyres during the running in, you're not gonna spoil them more than if you wait after the running in. Hope this last part makes sense .. !

hmm .. not sure of others opinion but my rear shinko so far ok good on both dry n wet road .. anyway i dont compromise my safety for a cheaper tyres but shinko comes in mind after reading the reviews on its quality yet budget price .. since my job scope need to ride even on wet days, i cant afford to rest under the bridge for shelter unless I have too .. for another reasons RS Taichi rain gears comes in place ..... cheers

hi guys! happy new year!

can i ask how to choose the right tire. the spec for the 200ns is

Front 100/80 - 17, 52 P, Tubeless

Rear 130/70 - 17, 61 P, Tubeless

What does these numbers mean?and if i were to find a replacement on Unique's thread, do i look for the same figures? 100/80 & 130/70?

im getting my bike next monday and im quite concerned about the fishtailing.

good morning to all,,

in simpler terms .. eg:

130(width) /(by) 70(height) - 17(rim diameter), 61(load) P(speed max), Tubeless (no tube inside)

Let's take the rear tyre as an example:

130 is the width in millimetres

70 is the height vs width ratio: it's 70% of the width, so here the tyre is 91cm high

17: rim size in inches

61: this is the tyre load index, means it's the maximum weight the tyre can carry at its maximum pressure. 61 corresponds to 257 kg

P: this is the tyre speed rating. It's the maximum speed you can ride safely with that tyre. P is for 150km/h

Tubeless: means your tyre is empty inside, there is only air, no tube inside.

And yes do look for the same height/width/diameter(rim size) figures when you change your tyres. SI (speed rating) and Load index will always be good enough for the NS so don't worry about those. Must be tubeless.

Do you know what caused it ? If the plastic is damaged (melted for example) it's not gonna go away.

If it's something on it, you can try first washing it with warm water and regular dish washing soap see if it goes away.

Next, you can spray some WD40 on it and let it act for 5 min then wipe.

Last, I have a can of Plexus, I use to clean my visor, drop by our meetup tonight and we can try it on your visor.

Always use microfiber cloth or very soft clean cloth to wipe the visor otherwise it's easy to get micro scratches on it.

Thanks for the feedback ! :thumb:

FC will change with time as you're gonna pick up speed after the running in - but do let us know when the tank is actually empty (must switch onr eserve, or even better, after the reserve s empty if you dare :) )

The fuel indicator on the dashboard is not reliable: half bars doesn't mean half full tank.
