I also almost got "carrot" by them when I am looking for helmet on Vesak Day... Btw, can try to look for Helmet boy in the advertiser board. They got YOHE helmet cost about $30+. Too bad dun have my size

 

i only like domo helmet leh.. the kevlar/fibreglass material makes it soooo light.. only 1.3kg.. and its the only helmet so far that has the amazing quality of avoiding wind resistance. i wear other helmets and check blind spot at high speed will feel resistance.. this helmet none of that feeling. really comfy wo.. thats why i search high and low for it.. maybe will try order from overseas liao if still cannot find.

no time time 2 play online. after i complete dis game, i'll move on 2 warhammer dawn of war 2. still got dot hack vol 1, 2 n 3 plus, kingdom hearts re: n persona 4 on d ps2. after dawn of war, will move on 2 fear 2 on d pc. im wasting my time playing games!! maybe cos i started wen i was 7 years old playing super mario on d 8 bit nintendo!! aAARFFGGHH!!

Like i mention... the HID MUST go with the volt meter...

 

HID UPDATEs....

 

Ok guys...

 

HID have been test in pulsar for past 4 days.... so far so good... today went to adjust the projection direction..... result is good.... will not hurt other road user...

 

Good Point...

 

1) Is F**king bright

 

2) Is VERY good when traveling at NorthSouth highway....

 

3) Driver can see u clearly.... not to mention TP also

 

4) IN dark road, even when heavy rain, we can see the road clearly....

 

5) So far... headlamp never melt....

 

Bad POINT !!!

 

1) need to modifty and cut the original headlight cable

 

2) Need to route and fix directly to the ignition cable / main battery

 

3) Have a independent switch..... to on/off HID

 

4) Must monitor ur voltage.... Once the HID is ON... the reading on Volt meter will decrease from 14.5V to 12.7 and slowly counting down. ONCE it hit 11.9, you must off the HID and switch to yellow halogen bulb and let it the battery charge... And once the battery charge to 14.5... u can on the HID again. which take very fast to charge up.

 

5) those install HID on puslar must also install VOLTMETER for monitor the voltage.

 

6)Our pulsar cannot powerup the HID due to CDI control. while even KUP also can install.

 

7) I'm using a AVENGER magnetic COIL.. meaning high recharging capacity.

 

 

I will monitor the HID further... above is a pro and con of HID.

sat nite in msia cos the road very dark so i keep using high beam den turn off high beam den got incoming veh ( considerate don blind them)

on/off quite a few times until duno y my high beam cannot off. i press on or off the high beam light still on . problem persist until now... sux later ppl tot i purposely high beam them...

Im pretty interested in Pulsar 180. Anyone know the Machine Price of the P180?(bike+ taxes + COE (without Insurance)).

 

I heard from other forums that:

 

1) Pulsar 180 has tyres that is not suitable for SG roads

2) Digi speedo meter can be quite inaccurate

3) something about the fork suspension being not very good

 

Ha, those are my concerns... are the above true?

 

Btw, after buying this bike(1st hand), what kind of servicing is required? just change of engine oil and sparks etc is it?

ur answer:

1) not quite. only watch for tight corners n slippery roads/surface expecialy rainy days. beter change 2 battlax tyres for beter grip.

2) Almost acurate, test n proven by our experience profesional Doctor Nemesis. cool name no?

3) suspension....... i dono.

 

after u do a running in wen u get ur new bike, roughly around 1k-2k, go for ur first service. ask others who had done dis. i bot 2nd hand.

For 1st hand, 3 FREE service and FREE Helmet and Rain coat ... ask for more if you are thick skin

PUTRAJAYA, Tues:

RON 95 petrol will be available at all petrol stations nationwide by September 1, retailing at RM1.75 per litre. This will replace the RON92 petrol, and push RON97 petrol as premium product to RM2 per litre, 20 sen more than the current price.

Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob assured that the RON95 will be made available at all petrol stations, despite the RON92's absence in some of the stations, especially in urban areas.

 

"We will make sure that it is easy for everyone to buy the RON95," he said after the launch of the petrol in a petrol station here yesterday.

 

The RON92, although being sold at only RM1.70 per litre now, only makes 5 to 10 per cent of the total petrol sales from 2000 to 2008.

 

There will also not be a ceiling price for the RON97 as oil companies can dictate their own pricing for the premium product.

"But they will still have to inform the government if they want to raise the price on their own," said Ismail.

 

The government subsidy formula will also be adjusted to 3 sen per litre for the RON95. Subsidy for RON97 is currently 6 sen per litre and is expected to decrease when the price increases in September.

 

He stressed that the RON95 is safe and suitable for most car makes.

 

"The RON95 is a standard in most European, American and Japanese petrol companies. We will also make sure that the RON95 sold here is in accordance to the EURO2M specifications," he said.

 

RON95 is already being sold at two Petronas stations in Putrajaya.

 

RON95 will contain 95 per cent octane and 5 per cent heptane while RON 97 contains 97 per cent and 3 per cent respectively.

 

Despite difference in the octane and heptane make up, the composition of the base fuel remains the same and it is previously reported that most cars on the road can run on RON92 fuel onwards.

 

Various car makers have also said that the using the RON95 in cars will not be noticeable, even in high performance models.
