other than gasket, where else in our engine is prone to leak oil ah?

i can see engine oil on my engine... my gasket is leaking (confirmed by tony VERY long ago) although not very serious.

so should i apply epoxy over the gasket?

or

change a new gasket? anyone know the cost?

or

is there some other actions i can take to cure that...?

btw if i;m got money and change horn soon.. i will choose stebel-nautilus-compact, look more nice. i don like the look of stock horns.. no offences

mine leaked at gasket once. fixed that already. another one just leaked a few days ago at the clutch lever there. damage $10+$5 (labour) for the O-ring and oil seal.

125km/hr is only downhill la bro! mine can only hit max 115km/hr on a straight road.

if i'm not mistaken, can use epoxy glue or the silicone paste or whatever la. but no point, once the engine is hot and running always, they will slowly melt and disappear away, leaving you back to square 1. just replace that part and you're good to go. if i can still remember correctly, i replaced mine at $70 6 mths back.

anyway, anyone ever tried michelin tyres? i just bought 1 for my rear tyre. cost me RM145 for a 100/80 size. is it normal or do i kena chopped already? lol... just wondering. and anyone of you guys ever change brake drums at JB? cos normally, i change mine at UM and it cost me $25 but just now, i change mine at JB and it cost me only RM20!! wonder if that will means a severe drop of quality or not. lemme test how long this rear brake will last to see if it's as good as those Bajaj ones.

in sg got sell diz horn?

just bought the hella supertones today, installing tmrw morning first thing, went to SLT to buy wires/fuse+holder/connectors.

plus pt of these horns, more resistant to rain. the nautilus, i was considering, then, not nuff space to hide + year end got inspection due. air horn buay pass. don't wanna waste time change here change there. plus, to work properly, have to be installed vertical +- 15degrees from vertical. leceh ah.

btw, here's a little clip from youtube, 1st is stock, then supertones, then the nautilus compact.

huh... wat u mean by horn switch ??? lol...

the colour of the wire that runs to the horn button inside the switchgear inside the left handlebar housing. was thinking of setting up new wiring harness for the new horn and leave the old harness coiled up inside the headlight, next time sell, can salvage horn and put back old one.

but now, i think i just use one of the set of wires running to one of the old horn to control the relay instead, save time.

yeah... not a big problem.. just need to top up engine oil more frequently and perhaps wash more often to get rid of the residue. and perhaps soon enough, the gap will be big enough for the leak to be spurting out instead. hahaha... just kidding. but you get my drift. if there's a problem, best is to get it fixed rather than cut corners and you'll waste more in future.

Yap got a 2nd hand spec 1 S4 with UM. Really well maintain bike from a melayu uncle and will be collecting it tomorrow.

Hope I'm lucky to get a good bike, you wouldn't know espeacially when you are getting a 2nd hand bike.

New S4 is as ex as a class 2 bike so must well wait till I get my Class 2 then get a new bike, more options.

We have a yellow Man U pulsar at Jurong area but not sure is the one that you saw.

Cheer for your new horn bro.:cheers::cheers:
