wah the helmet looks good, but i remember seeing one helmet... its not that bad either, full face by m-fizz i think, cos its written on the helmet m-fizz lol?.. you can flip the jaw thingy up... has shades in it too to flip down..to me v chiobu

any ideas if that helmet is good and whats e price?

I bought for $120 there ... Gaban bought it first but not sure how much he got it ... did show to Solar during the bike wash day but TRUELY we do impressed with the SHARK Evoline helmet when we saw it ourselves belongs to one of the bike wash guy..

The M-Fizz is good enough but its not as well build as the Shark-evoline. mjbs64 and me have a feel on the actual helmet during the bike wash session, really SOLID piece of equipment :lovestruck::lovestruck::lovestruck:.

I think Zeus lacks quality but it makes up in terms of price. I heard someone who fell on a Zeus Helmet and the flip up actually cracks and cut into her Chin. I think Rjay quality is much better wo. Nemesis been wearing for so long, and it still looks good...

BTW, XCD135 looks a bit like the BAJAJ Discovery which I have been seeing in India Banglore. It do look very good and I heard from a friend that FC is like 60KM/L wo. That is quite ultimate for a bike. Then again, in India people are all expecting their bikes to go like 50-60km/l...

zeus ok la. think last time i bought $120. average on noise. so so ventilation. rather heavy also. also the exterior not very durable.. seems easy to get scratches and wear off compared to other helmets. but its cheap.

HJC CL MAX flip-up also quite good. been wearing it so long and still it feels really comfy. super light somemore. But not for people who are really an@l abt PSB approving. cos its DOT and ECC approved but dun have PSB -.-

even HJC FS-15 has SNELL lor. wtf is PSB thinking. to think helmets like nova, sumo can pass.

The Zeus flip up I believe I paid $160 plus for it from LABS about 2+yrs back ba. It is not bad consider the price Vs the Quality. But then the vent dun really keep me cool. In the end, I wore less than 10 times then sell it for $30. *Reminds me of a bad experience selling it wo*

MHR can get the Rjay look alike. Cheap and nice...

Hey guys, just wondering what is the tire pressure for Pulsar 180 if I want to pump air?

I bought my bike in late Feb and till now, I never pump air before cause I feel it's still hard. Don't know why though, so just wondering.

yeh, i think HJC is good stuff, using a HJC FG-15 myself. bought it after looking at rjays/zeus/mhr. more robust than those, but cheaper than the higher end stuff. value and quality.

i think the whole PSB thing is just the gvt's way of protecting themselves, to show that they got certification for helmet. it sorta makes sense, cuz even though helmet snell/ece approved, maybe during transportation, kena knock around or exposed to contaminants, e.g. fuel vapors, degrade the EPS, then useless already, but looks ok externally. that's why got batch destruction testing, make sure everything still works. just my 2cents. of course, i also believe that FF, even uncertified, provides more protection than a PSB approved open face ever can.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

any pulsar owner got this problem with their bike???

my pulsar fuel tank indicator is not accurate. it will suddenly appear half tank or 2bar left with red light lighted. fuel valve is always on the ON position.

i pump 10litre of petrol n was told by previous owner to base on the mileage to guide. roughly 40km/litre. is it true that all pulsar 180cc got this petrol gage problem.

hope to meet pulsar out with pulsar owner to gain more knowledge on this bike.

another thing is when i apply front brake there is this itching sound, wat is wrong with it.

bike was FBB plate yet appear to have a couple of problems. previous owner even modifield the starter switch as the orginial right hand start switch spoilt. is there anyone can fix this problem so tat i can start using the default starter switch. thanks, 90885376 to contact me. i'm staying in yishun hope to meet pulsar owner soon.

possible PM me will be gd also. thank to this forum!

It is true that Pulsar first batch fuel gauge is not accurate.... the current fuel gauge is improved version, u can simply hack care wbout this problem or go UM to change into the latest improved version of fuel gauge.

Do not believe in the Fuel comsuption stated by prev rider. different rider got

different riding style. Some can hit 700++ per full tank while some hit 450 per full tank.

hope to meet pulsar out with pulsar owner to gain more knowledge on this bike.

Do come out for the monthly BTMO, which fall on every 2nd sat of the month.

Either ur brake pad is worn off or something is not rite. check it out with ur

mech on this problem.

The orginal switch must be faulty. the only way is replace the whole right hand switch. which cost nearly 60+ or more. or u can repair it... provided someone can repair it.

possible PM me will be gd also. thank to this forum!

i suggest if u wan to go... go all same bike. becos if other bikes go along either pulsar cannot catch or the other bikes very stress.

please come out with the new schedule.

After brief disccusion, we may decided that.

1) A S4 and a TransAlps will be tagging along. Both are seasoned riders and will travel the same speed as us. They travel to thai b4 many time, so can be tour guide somehow or rather.

2) maintain a speed of 90-100km/h all the way.

3) Might be using Frog-leaping styles along the way. ( example: B will overtake A and slow down, than A will overtake B)

4) Less rest time... Will stop at everystop for estimate 5min than carry on.

Try to cover as much ground as possible in shortest time. HOpefully can reach KL at about 1am. Aound 3am to 5am, rest time will be longer.

5) We calculate based on more rest time = more fatigue (Tired) & less time covering more ground. Less stress the engine = travel longer distance.

6) Style of riding based on prev cameron trip.

above is some of the thing we tot about, Please call me for more enquiry. We loved to have u aboard.

5mins per stop?

Pulsar is an air-cooled bike. i really suggest u think thru the stops and how long. Your target is to reach thailand not to RUSH n reach there with a broken bike where no spares are avaliable.

If u achieve ur target n reach KL by 1am, i foresee u wun be able to even the thai border at 7am. Bikes are machines that generate heat. heat causes loss of energy. the hotter the bike becomes the less efficient it is.

Please re-consider on ur schedule.
