i got to meet up with Nemesis, nice n friendly guy. get to understand more abt my pulsar180.

 

btw i only manage to get 36km per litre of petrol. any advice on how to get 40+/litre time to time i speed to 80 - 90km/hr. average speed is abt 75km/hr

it also depend on ur weight also. guess ur wt is abt 80+ is it ?

i disagree. my weight is also abt 80kg. somemore i always pillion my wife around. my fc is about 43km/L.

 

my traveling speed always matches the speed limit of the area. but i try to accelerate gradually unlike the kup-zais who speed off at the traffic light. true that im always one of the last one off the line, but i can go so much further on the same tank of fuel.

 

interestingly, my last tank of fuel took me past 700km on a single tank without hitting reserve. think i must have squeezed in more fuel on the last top up

who riding 06 pulsar?? is it the fuel gauge red bar is reached reserve liao? or red bar mean low quantity in petrol??

ur fc good le.. maybe p200 engine better.. my max one tank inculde reserve 680km plus abit only

 

anyway i ride normal road also like expressway wan.. 70~85km/h..

expressway 85~105km/h

getting abt 35km/l

the Whole fuel gauge meter is Only Main Tank.

Reserve have to count urself. advice is reserve try not go over 50km.

 

red bar means low fuel in main tank

Mine's a '06 UG2. when it hits red, it'll start to sputter after awhile, more like just after the needle moves past the red-white border into red, then reserve is the rest of the red bar. kena twice already, riding from amk to jalan besar, both times middle of the expressway switch to reserve, never again. never tried to go to the end of the red bar to see if that's main tank only, haha.

 

there's only one way to find out for yourself, ride until your bike starts surging then you'll know hit reserve alr. that or you got water in your tank.
