Good to hear I have a buddy on saving fuel, I am too for it. Recently I achieved 837 Km before hitting the reserve with full tank of petrol. I have achieved 49.1 Kmpl with my average speed of 70 Kmph.

My record is 55 Kmpl so far. (I own UG3)

O'Ren - Another FAQ - The fuel tank capacity is 17 litres + Reserve (1~2Litre)

waaaaa....i always average 70km/h.. but never ever reached even 45.. also UG3.. :( my most was 41kmpl at most! our bike definitely 17L + 2 L reserve.. i once finished my whole tank .. tt time posted and ask abt fuel lever rem? ha.. i top up can reach more then 19L.. so.. i guess its thr la.. heh..

Guys, I found this blog entry comparing the P180 UG3 to the new P180 UG4, it's an interesting read that answers most questions:

in any case, pulsar is not a race bike y care so much abt its specs and BHP, torque whatever????

most impt is the ridability and FC... hahahahaha

Hi All,

Just got my hands on the Creative VADO HD pocket camera and did a small test clip on it :

I secured it to my belt and started recording. Not bad, can still see other cars numbers. But the view is too low.

Need to further diy using JackOhJack method or lutine method to secure the camera to the jacket.

Hwahwahwa ok lar, lane 3 mah... I tried to stay in lane 1 once, I hit 105km/h also still got car overtake from lane 2... *Sigh* dunno why singapore always got b@stards in such a rush... But i'll stick to 85km/h max... The wind resistance quite powerful... I remember a van zoom pass me and the wind vacuum effect was *WOAH* Dangerous.

+1 for 70km/h on highway :D

Safety tips:

Always STOP at the STOP LINE!

Don't rush. You're not racing for a record.

Always look in front, especially when trying to change lanes, the vehicle in front might jam brake.

Don't be easily offended, a**holes exists, mingling with them gets you sh*t.

if i am not wrong.. the cam is $299 on the creative website now! ha..

check it out here.. free delivery too! ha..

i tried to go fast on expressway but never ever go lane 1 for our pulsar.. tt's wad i feel.. no matter how fast u go.. cars confirm overtake one..in lane 1.. the cars come up damn fast.. drivers in SG forever in a rush la.. especially when one see a bike coming up from the rear mirror and approaching rite.. their sub conscious puts a heavy foot down on the power pedal.. ha.. tt's wad i realise everytime.. even thou i'm on lane 2 and the vehicle on lane 3..:sian:

Ok lar... When I go 65-75km/h on lane 3 or 4, usually will have a big lorry/van "hogging". If I feel fast enough I will stay there, if really too slow I will overtake until the next "hog"...

So this Saturday still no confirmed event yet...

Any more suggestions? Otherwise we will just take it as meet up and talk **** session...

Awesome Lanzer ! That camera is on my to-get-list too, I loved the videos Lutine posted and I thought her method of fixing it to the front of the jacket was pretty smart. :thumb:

Do give us more details about the camera if you can please (where to buy, battery life, memory space, usability etc..). I haven't looked into it closely yet, but I did mentally make a note to ask owners of this camera how to use it during rainy days. I think that's where it's gonna be very useful cause the risks of accidents are higher. (Well that is if you ride when it rains which I'll try to avoid as much as I can).

Looking at your video, I realize that the Pulsar's speedometer can be seen very clearly (compared to Lutine's videos where you can "guess" the speed by roughly the position of the needle), so if anything happens and your speed is said to be too high, the video would work like a charm to prove otherwise.

Oh and get rid of those open gloves. What's up with you guys hun? Open face helmet, open fingers gloves, open toes flip-flops, open legs shorts, everything open only ah ! :dozed::dozed::dozed::dozed:

You are killing me !:cry:

Now don't tell me it's because of the heat, come on! They are not gonna provide ANY protection if you skid/fall, and you know how easily we can use our hands when we fall, as a reflex, they are more likely to get a good tarmac rub..:(

Or Take The Bus !

I checked the CMO you were referring to glzco, and there isn't sufficient information on the jackets for me to place an order. There's a good chance I'm going to keep the jacket for a long time so I don't want to end up with something I'm not 100% happy with or that I won't be able to sell if I want something else.

UKnight, I understand the price/money problem all too well.. but one can save, bit by bit, with patience, over the months, everything falls into place :) Gloves I think are the easiest safety to get and the cheapest. Good ones can be found at promo prices: you don't really need the latest model, something from 3 years back can still be an excellent choice.

Anything but half-gloves! :faint: :faint: :faint:

Uknight,

you need to call Rudy to update the dates available.

fyi on Sat 19th is eve of Hari Raya .. no washing that day.

option you have is on the 5th and 12th but you need to call Rudy to confirm whether the Saturdays are still available...

and btw .. 3rd location is at Bukit Panjang but I think is on Sunday only.

However if we have a decent no of members to wash together, they may come to our prefered location where we want it to be ...

have courtesy too,

if they willing to come over to our prefered location be sure the no of bikes agreed must be there..

last washing day .. if I'm not mistaken 15 bikes registered but 7 only turn up .. know what I mean
