I've worked in this line before as enforcement officer wif a private firm for HBD and there are officers like me before as we don't give face for people trying to play cat and mouse... and for those who likes to cheat by all means you can especially with your coupon's tricks, but you can be dragged to court and your penalty will be a super BOMB! Trust me .. you would'nt dare to take the risk if you know.

During my time, there was 1 crazy officer who issued summons more than 40 every day/night shift. Me ... haha min 10 summons. Working this line you cannot come back to office witout a single summon made .. you can guess how much 'the office' earned from just summons only.. and for the enforcement officers they are just doing their job if not they get fired.

 

Be safe and save your pocket than sorry ... this are my advise to all.

Once they remembered and reccognised your vehicles usually they don't bother to scan anymore but sometimes like i said before there are crazy officers out there and there are new comers too and they just loved to give tickets away ... beware of these fellows

no me no bike liao.. sold of my pulsar.. me jus own a car only.. cannot hide already.. must buy season parking liao..

 

yea lah, mostly youngest are often very on.. check every single car/bike.. but those senior one, they recognise by vehicle. so long time i cover my bike but got season parking also.. than as i said in the previous post, i stop my season parking after that till i sell my bike.. so it was like almost 3 years of free parking.. heee.. wish i can do that for my car.. wah $90 for season parking no joke..

does anyone know if um sells blank pulsar keys?

hi every one, my pulsar cannot start.

not sure what's the problem. canot kick start either. i just got it form the bike shop yesterday. SOS!

 

i realized the fuel needle is at just touching red so i switched the fuel from on to reserve tho.. but still canot start. Any ideas?

oh yeah when cranking the starter it's kinda weak.

how to use a choke? been riding FI bikes for too long.. duno how to use it..lol

 

btw my bike hard to kick to neutral gear. especially engine is on. is there a problem?

got pump petrol after u got from shop?

normally bike shop only provide u with enough petrol to travel to nearest kiosk.

 

what plate is ur pulsar? what UG version?

for me, my choke is located at left handle bar, there is a choke lever, push in front is OFF, push towards u is ON.

 

hard to kick to neutral? im guessing EO is low.

 

im a new rider too, don think i can help much, wait for the pros over here to enlighten you.

mine's a UG2

i pumped alright. and the needle was in the white region. just now i realized it was just touching the red region so maybe need to on reserve already.

 

i Duno maybe some carburator choked or what .. what's the choke used for?

Bike shop told me they just changed EO and plug. i think maybe it's the clutch lever's displacement not enough to disenage the clutch.

so can your bike start after u pump petrol? or u mean before u pump petrol, but after u turn to res then bike cannot start? need to wait a while after turning to res for the petrol to flow in...

 

as for the hard to kick to neutral.... u can try shifting your biting point slightly further out. might help.

... after messing up with the bike for an hr. spent 10 mins trying to figure out how to access the organs. i found out that the hose delivering fuel to the carb has a crack. that's not the main problem.

My battery is too weak. err i shoke it and it has those sizzling sounds.

Replaced it with my spare drycell, but it's too large to fit -.- and the polarity on my battery connectors are reversed!! battery cable not long enough to stretch to the correct polarity. lucky i checked. if not.. u know? BoomZ

 

stretch till my fingers pain n numb.

 

still cannot start....

 

Now guess what.... then the engine kill switch caught my eye. You know the rest.

 

Damn all my previous bikes canot even crank start when the kill switch is open.

 

Btw, i also discovered a little cable that seems to be telling me to pull it on the right side of the panel.. It's the seat unlocker.. lol. have any bro's been asked by customs open up ur seat btw?

Hmm.... this is very common error we all face. Though it is simple, we tend to ignore the importance while troubleshooting.

ATTEMPTED to went UM to do some servicing and troubleshooting. travel from hougang all the way to UM, only to find out that today is public holiday, all shops closed.

Bought from hua chin motors in bukit batok. Not bad la. It's my bad for not realizing the engine kill switch is on(COS I CAN STILL CRANK START..) -.- and i kept cranking till the battery weak.

 

Not exactly wrongly fixed up. Maybe the original wetcell battery is alittle weak. then i replaced it with my spare drycell and the terminals are reversed as compared to the wetcell ones. Like the positive cable is 5cm short of reaching my new battery's terminal.

 

 

The only complain i have about the bike is that it's not easy to shift to neutral, and the first gear is too ineffective. at 4k-5krmp it's only 20km/hr

Btw bros can i have some advice on this bike? i think the previous owner used a smaller sprocket.. hence the the high rpm and vibration and the ineffective first gear.

i like to keep it nice and smooth at 5krpm.. but speed too slow

Any mods to improve on this? i'd prioritise a smooth ride than better acceleration.

hmm. my first gear also can hit only 20km/h,

 

maybe 25 around 6-7k rpm. normal?
