I've read quite abit on the malaysian sym thread ... looks interesting too, similar to Indonesia Bajaj Pulsar Brotherhood.

hey peeps..just got my p200 just now...running in ..hehehe...smooth accelaration..but everytime i check my mirror theres always a vehicle tailgating me..be it van or lorry..irritating...but its ok.. ...hope to join u guys for kopi session or what not soon!...i think theres a lot for me to explore with my black beauty ...holla at me if anyone wanna sit down coffeeshop n talk about pulsar all day ..me staying westside

 

oh yah..first top up..17L..esso92 at $29 ...no wonder most of yall go JB top-up...

why do you wanna change your rims? if you want, just get the rim stickers and paste it on and it will do.

thankx brother...so i wont change the rims..just the tyres..hehe ..im planning to beautify my bike..first time riding naked bike...oh btw is pulsar sensitive to aftermarket modification?..example like hazard light mod..hmm..change the brake "system"..and so forth? btw paiseh i ask so many questions..very noob i know...

Congrates....

 

be patience with your running in ... at times ok to accelerate as long as the needle don't go over 7... maintain 6.5 your bike will be fine for longer run ... remember bike too have stress limit. .... keep good acceleration when changing gears ... avoid dragging the engine to shift gears ... no need to see the rpm just feel the bike.

During starting warm up no need to wait for 5 mins ... 1-2 mins should be fine .. continue the warm up by riding off slow then vroomm on as normal ... warming the engine by moving slowly is better than still warming...

Bike vibration and feeling hot on your leg area are normal ... after long ride, your needle rpm reach 2 is also normal during early running in...

ride smart and safely ... P200 worth your money.

 

oh don't forget to reset 0 when ever you top up and check the mileage till you hit reserve... average P200 can hit 600 and above ... mine can't get exact same time as my load and riding style inconsistent ...

 

You live west which area ... me taman jurong riding P200 red with side boxes.

Guys ... a gentle reminder

 

For those who have not change your brake oil after a year, please change the brake oil.

manual book stated change once every 1 year ... don't be like me after 1 year and 4 months then changed .. went down UM for my routine servicing ... informed the mech to change the brake oil .. the mech said no need stated my bike is still new ... I told him just change as the manual stated to change once a year ... to my surprise the oil is blackish in color and slugs formed in the container .. new brake oil is clear and thin. I told the mech sometimes by experience we thought so but like wise followed the manual are most reliable as the bike been tested and recorded. .... looking at his face. he just smile feeling paisey

 

Other things just to share ... this time my servicing date was slightly delayed .. mileage clocking 2460 ... manual stated every 2000 to change EO.

Last servicing taken note of the color of my EO after 2000 ...slightly dark blackish brown.. this time the color are not that blackish ... the mech told me, the EO is still good.... he said maybe I used FS EO ... but truely maybe he's right partially ... to be honest I trust FS Mobile1 and I also did use Green Oil too for try out ... in total 1 bottle I've used .... maybe too the Green oil thus have that effect ... cleaner engine. ..just my thoughts ... btw here I'm not promoting ha .. I just like to try this and that as long i don't do harm to my bike .. heheh

haha I'm not expert here ... me too still noob...

you can read more of the specs here in the few front pages ... O'Ren have made a lots of efforts to compile the infos of our bikes ...

basically P200 using extra EO .. 1.2l compare to P180 for just 1l EO.

this extra .2l needed to flow along the radiator where the oil will be cooled by the radiator and cooler oil will flow back to the engine...thus keeping the engine cooler... compare to P180 just using air only to cool the engine. Basically be it P108 or P200, our bikes run best during the nights due to cooler air.... like i said me no expert ...

 

You stayed Jurong east ... then maybe can talk more while having teh tarik ... there are 2 teh tarik 24hrs along jurong west .. i think infront of the CC along street 41 should be good... msg me if you feel free to have a cup of teh tarik in the evening.

any idea about fork oil?

might want to change it

i always got servicing roughly abt 2.5k

emmmm ... my mistakes as there are slight different in the manual book for P180 and P200 ... and my eyes sight need to 'service too' .. as aged really matters...hmmm

 

yours fine .... keep up 2.5km or 90days are the subsequent date for servicing,

 

P200 ... servicing 2.5km too and change EO every 5000km subsequently if using SAE 20W 50 API SJ+JASO MA
