Hi guys i got a question bout license. Ok imagine i have a car license for 8 months and the maximum demerit points is 13 right. And i accumulated 12 points on the 8th month. Den when i reach 1 year i will have 23 points for 24 months right. Or do i have to have a clean record for a year than can have 23 points.

u only get back ur demerit pt back 1day+1yr after the day u commited the offence. to get another 12pt, u need to have a clean record of 1yr.

 

Another question is imagine i get a bike license now. Den if i have 12 points on my car license wouldnt it mean i already accumulated 12 points for my bike den i only left 1 more point before my bike license would get revoked.. Thanks guys.. juz wondering. like bo hua

i'm not too sure if diff class share the same demerit, but if u get a new class, all class demote to 12pt, then u must have 1yr clean record to get another 12pt.

 

TP will usually advise not to get a new class if u got less than 12pt, cos if u suay get revoke for that class, all class r revoke, so waste ur $$. better be patient and clear ur demerit b4 getting a new class.

wrong, there's no 13pt, 1st yr get 12pt, u commit 12pt become 0pt, still can drive, any minor offence ur lic get revoke. however the usual case u get 12pt in 1 shot, they will consider ur case, n sometime add a reckless driving which cost 3pt to get ur lic revoke. so during the 1st yr be very very careful.

as long as you're on probation or within 1yr ot CL2/2A, you can accumulate max of 12pts across all licenses.

any new class will demote all class to 12pt. but i'm not sure if demerit is consolidate, i came across 1 thread someone said it's not, need some1 to confirm on this.

the dial is somewhere between where u're sitting and the tank, on the left side. it's quite obvious, as it's the only thing sticking out.

 

i've not experience new spark causing low rpm, but usually mine in the mornig will have quite low, thus i usually use choke.

 

hmm... anyidea what direction should i turn my dial at?

interesting.. their stock horns are at $25 ah.. thats damn expensive.. considering its durability. that day when I went to fix up my new Hella horns for only $32, an uncle was there also and one of his complaints was his horn. He had to change his horns for the 3rd time in 3-4 years. Problem was that his horn works intermittently.

ah, i see, so it's 1yr from last offence to get all 24pts? in otherwords, even though probationary period is over, still won't have full 24pts. esentially, your "probation period" gets extended to 12mths from last offence in a sense?

 

according to many diff posts from many diff threads, it's up to the judge or TP to decide. ppl have had all licenses revoked from exceeding 12pts. others have only had the affected class revoked. ppl have emailed tp and they have said only affected, other have had diff experience, nothing conclusive. my view is that it's at the discretion of the judge. then on another thread is another fella who said that he himself kena point on previous license, then when he kena on new license, only the new one gets revoked.

clockwise is lower, anti-clockwise is higher. that's for mine, now sure if ur's is any diff.

 

mine in the morning about 0.8-1, after a while it'll usually die off. so i use choke to 1.5-1.8. my normal running is 1.3-1.5, depending on how hot the weather is.

i bought a hjc FF even before clearing 2B tp. wore it the first day i went to UM to collect my pulsar. have never NOT worn it, other than 500m rides to pump air/petrol. in fact, when i ride in heavy traffic, i wear armoured mesh jacket. do ppl laugh at me? have yet to encounter. looks/stares, so what? prefer them staring at your in FF or without a jaw? your choice there are quite alota 2B bikers wearing FF nowadays. not many ppl bother to comment even if they see. if they do, it's because they have some ego problem. what i do is none of their business. they just feel the need to put you down because it makes them feel better about their life.

mmpphhhh, supposedly louder indeedy, also more of a hassle to have to replace during inspection. heh. ever saw one on a pulsar before, think had to fab mounting brackets, since it's kinda bulky.

Issit? I have been using FU (Flip up) helmet for some time... Haven't gotten any stares... Personally I feel more privacy with the FU helmet because people can't see what I'm doing with my jaw and mouth... Not that I'm doing anything kinky lol...

 

Just that if I adjust my face like twitch my face or something no one will see. That's kind of odd but it's my personal preference.

P200 5.4k.

 

For second hand ones... usually you can find P180s in the forum here at about 2.3k to 3.5k.

 

For insurance, P Platers should be at least 700-900+.

Road tax half year $32, 1 year $64.

Season parking: $15, $17 for MSCP.
