recently got this loose metal thingy in my exhaust... can hear cling-cling-cling sometimes. my mechanic says its ok, nothing to be worried about, but still worried leh. anyone got the same problem b4? how to remove that huh? will that thing damage the exhaust or not?

go to the mech... ask him to dismantle the exhaust and turn it upside down to let the debris out. go UM and do.

Now running in my bike, just hit 300km. How come when hit abt 60km can feel the bike not smooth le? Issit because of the half synthetic/mineral oil currently using now for the run in? When does the engine start go get smooth? After how many km? Can hear like the plastic vibrating.

 

 

Damn gonna change my damn tyres tommorow! Feels like a fish on the wet road.

kidding only la. make a trip down to 219 motorshop yourself. got alot of other stickers to choose from.

 

anyway this is the real road outside for you. no longer like in driving center where instructors will protect you. keep a look out on the road yourself. for me, i rather use my hand to steer away from this drivers than to use my finger and horn them.

hey there nemesis... dont worry about me.. what roadrunner say is absolutely cold hard true... they don't look to people who are saving up sh!tlessly ... well if i'm any one of those salesperson... i would definitely sell it to Tom ... even he brought in the suitcase with cisco bodyguards around..

Problem here. Changed engine oil on the 5th of this mth. Last 2 days my engine oil warning light kept displaying. Checked oil level it's gd, no signs of leakage from any part of the engine.

Bro... 1st thing 1st.... Please forgive me for what i about to post....

 

1st, from ur msg... u are not a tactical person but full of negative comment. Our dear kid here is desperate to get a pulsar and yet, again and again u given him negative comment. Just like rubbing salt into the wound. BY nature, he can dun even give a damn to our comment and get other bike than pulsar. Since he is so sincere in getting pulsar. the least WE senior can do is help him out within our limit.

 

2nd, the way you have post, sound like UM is those greedy business people who have no room for compassion. All they want is MONEY. IN that case, Bro... you are totally wrong.

 

3rd, I have requested that once there is a trade-in 2nd hand bike, they will let me knoe in first hand. than i will quickly contact mastera to go see the bike... dun forget... once a bike is being trade-in, they will take awhile to fix the bike and before they sent for resale. during this time.. who will bring hardcore cash to buy a not yet-refix bike ???

 

4th... the least I'm doing now for mastera is that offering him A chance, a ray of light.... rather than you who straight away before you think, throw this poor kid straight into darkness. how will this incident affect his growing up life ? MOST OF his school mate who got class 2b got bike and how will his class mate say about him ? the least we have done is to show him the burden of having a bike. but the final decision is still his.

 

 

U gonna ride ur Pulsar like a hell rider? If not, then no need Hel lah. Yes it'll improve ur braking. But if ur technique is wrong, Pulsar is a transport bike, so ride it like one.

 

 

Pulsar it self can be many type of classification .... Sport, touring or even street bike, work bike and transport bike. HOW the bike turn out is solely depend on the rider. I give u some example.... ASRI- sport pulsar, ME- touring pulsar, Lindavw, suvespa- street pulsar, the company "INTIAL"- working bike. SO no way, Pulsar is a solely a TRANSPORT bike. Rider can use it to their own liking. Even when come to modilfication of bike, owner have the rite to chose wat they want to install. what we can advise is the pro and cons. there is no way we can obstruct them to install what they want.

I understand how u feel... getting ur bike is like TKD.... we all have to start with white belt first than slowly raise in rank. no one can jump straight to 1st dan. rite ? i will continue to assist u but also i hope u can learn from all the senior rider here just as u have to respect ur instructor. what u learn and read from this thread is theory. and what i about to show u is pratical.

 

Is good to have a goal. just keep working towards it. I'm sure all the pulsarian will assist u in anyway they can.

Apologize for not explaining clearly...

 

The exhaust is made up of two pipe (watever u call it) the cling cling sound that u heard, maybe due to the innner pipe. the inner piping which due to unknown reason become rusty and break into small tiny pcs. As the rusty debris have no way to escape thus it remain in ur exhaust. It may also be like wat Bro 'chaos' had said.

 

try this method to determin the problem.

 

locate the orign of sound...

 

If the sound come from the header - try to tighten it.

if sound come from underneath the engine (inside the exhaust) than ur inner piping have break. get ur mech to dismantle the exhaust and try to knock the debris out....

 

let us know the result... as this will be sort of a case study for us to learn..

2006 i graduated and join the work force. saved enough money to take my class 2B license starting from scratch at SSDC this year.

 

5 years i waited for license liao and to own a bike.
