so mikuni BS32 is "vaccuummmm" rite? not jetted like our carbs? if fix 32 or 33 or anything bigger than size 30 must lay our block? i think bore-up is the term? and throttle of course have to change...? issit the carb really compatible and "user-friendly"? hehehehe :cheeky:

theres Aunty Shop,219,JuzzWheelz & Eugene Saddlery(address i not sure) but aunty and 219 is nearby..both at lavender..and juzzwheelz is of course opp of our service centre..our ey? hahaha...

Anyway from reading & hearing various reviews and feedbacks..aunty shop is normal i guess..219 & JuzzWheelz quite well known..Eugene saddlery i think he doing alone..but word of mouth say he does a good workmanship and his knowledge is good...i might go to him for just my seats..see how...now cannot find the time to go anywhere..even to get my iridium spark plugs..its more work and less sleep now..:faint:..but to quote splitfire master aka mr.gila transformer saying "no sacrifice no victory.."..sooo we really need to sacrifice.

Speaking of spark plugs..anyone know about Nology Silver AOS..i might try that..got guys open up a CMO on Nology Hotwire/Plugs over @ the Product Mass Ordering forum. :cheeky:

hello bro .... our stock all vacuum carb lah using diaphrgm one (rubber thingy) .. mentioned before

P180 using mikuni carburator BS26

P200 using mikuni carburator BS28

P220 using mikuni carburator BS32

that is why I approached chris to get more info from India whether P220 mikuni BS32 can plug and play with our Pulsar 180/200 and if can and possible than why not bring in to singapore since there is a demand to opt for it..

unless you want jetted without diaphrgm (rubber thingy) than you have to opt for keihin PE28 thats what cookie has on hands and that is the lowest yet powerful than our stock BS28 vacuum one...but if you want more power than opt for the keihin PWK or mikuni TM series ... these are all jetted one... :cheeky:

regards to gaban and speedaddict .. not sure whether UM upgrade the carb using P200 mikuniBS28 or still using BS26 when they did the overhauled...

so gaban and speed can share? ... heheheh :cheeky:

I highly recommend Eugene saddlery. I got this anti-slip material for my pulsar when I first got my bike. It costs more than elsewhere, but the material is exactly like how he described. Unlike some other anti-slip materials, it won't soak up water when wet, just use rag wipe off can already.

He will spend time to discuss with you the different materials, what kind of feeling the different patterns will have when you sit on it, etc. Really knows his stuff. Then when he did it and there was a little crease, he will remove the staples and ensure that there are no defects. Also have heard that if you use for a short while and got stretch/defects, bring back to him, he'll fix it FOC.

The best 55 or 60bucks I ever spent on the bike. Instant upgrade. No more sliding on the seats, no more pillion slipping. And, ruddy good workmanship + he's a friendly fella to chat with.

Smile! Tomorrow will be worse.

bro lesson 1 ... where ever or what ever you want to do , you do and no regret after that .. cos what ever the results, you gain a knowledge. As I said before knowledge is power but expensive.

Last time old days i did my seat wrapped at beach rd area ... no complaint.. good workmanship

when i got my pulsar

first place :

I went beside Ah Boy the uncle shop .. ppl say they have problem ... for me they did ok trimmed nicely my front seat and rewrapped with the stock one ... price I forget... verdict ok no complaint and I fix my IU cover there also .. till now condition still like new one

2nd place:

I forgot the actual address but the shop behind Ah Boy for my Transformer seat wrap and Harris throttle grip.. price I forget too but overall no complaint too .. seat nice and shiny .. waterproof too

3rd place:

juzzwheelz to change my front seat onli cos looks nice but slippery .. nothing to do decide to change anti slip one ... itchy idea want to have 2 color at the end after it was done .. I'm not happy with the match color ... so ask to redo and pay the damaged cost ... the boss knew I'm not happy but yet since i willing to pay the damage so he do it personally and tadaa now if you noticed my front seat super super nicer heheheh .. and I am happy with the results .. I don'tcare to pay extra for the mistake I done hehehe .. the actual price was $40 ... and the extra damaged cost I swallowed it and forget about it since I'm happy with the seat ... non slippery, waterproof, comfort to sit and yes beautifully done by the boss himself... no compaint.

after all remember these words ... it's your bike and your money ...

N0 SACRIFICE NO VICTORY!!!!!

before nice but slippery

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=579&pictureid=3332

present .. anti slip with joint at side to look more sporty .. and behind the joint silicone layer applied to prevent any leakage.

for the rear seat ... slippery yes but no worries .. anti slip mat on it for pillion will do the job ..hahah ... the TRANSFORMERS must maintain hehehehe

btw can spot other things i change from the two photos? hehehehe

reason why you must have spare helmets .... one wash one wear and vice versa lah .... and tips of the day how to keep your helmet fresh ...

simply buy a satchet of top up air freshner normally for cars one and tugged in behind the padding .. your helmet will be freshed and have a nice fragrance smell . .. I learnt this from my nephews hehehehe

a carb alone cost hundreds but not that expensive..less than $300 i assumed..if they upgrade..hmm..i think its unlikely n doubt so but who knows rite. Anyway if change carb must change this and that to suit and balance everything..i rather keep my mods to the minimal/standard mod  but i will never know when i will go "gila" like my 125z..hehehe..:cheeky:

Anyway just my 2centz...If anyone interested in porting your stock carb..please refrain from doing so..yes its way cheaper than a new carb but as the saying goes "once u go black u cant go back"..same goes to stock carb..once u port theres no more turning back..so sacrifice a bit and buy a new racing carb or what not..once u tired of your modded bike...u can simply revert back to stock bike mode by plug n play of both carbs..peace :)
