Hi Guys,

 

I need advise from you. I am working at changi business park and my wife working at AMK,near Yio Chu Kang. I am planning to rent a house close to my wife's office and planning ride to office everyday over the TPE, about 22-23Kms one way.

 

Although I love riding long distances, I was just wondering how does it feel doing it every day, on a pulsar 180. Does anybody here ride so much everyday? All suggestions welcome

Bro, I travel an average of 130km per day, no, I'm not a despatch rider..but my jobs in the west, I stay east, go hm, fetch madam at central, send to west then go back east..my suggestion is a gd mp3 player(iPhone does the job well enough)..and better change yr seat to a better cushioned one..my butt meaty so save abit..hehehe..and get wat mj intro(ESP the ones that reduce vibration e.g sprocs)

i am loving my shocks too

although still need some tweaks

need to ride around 1st then adjust more

but the initial ride is so much better then my stock:thumb:

how is the braking power of this bike like? cos understand tt the rear is a drum brake.. so might not be as effective as a front back disc

 

how much power you want from pulsar 200 .. hehehe?

 

The only think you need to get use to it is just the 'melody' it creates often ... hehehheh

well the rear brakes are ok

but there is definately room for improvement

however i believe in the end it is the rider who controls the bike

even with a bike with front and rear disc brakes and the rider just wack and lost control

the rider will still gone case

yep .. knew this article the first time I got my gazi from Kira ... google around then found it .. I set to mine wind down to 0 then wind up to 5 for solo ride but nd to wind up + 2 for pillion. ..

 

You bought the set come with the manual and tool kit rite? .. notice on your pic. .. same like my nephew just bought his gazi after his 2 yrs + S4 Showa spoiled.

 

Sad though for Kira when e bought it at Unique, they took away his manual and tool kit ... why I said that cos when Kira asked for the tool kit there , they said it doesn't come with the set ... which I don't believe them ... so guys .. at Unique just take note ok ...

my nephew got his at AhBoy last week same price as yours ... now I borrowed his tool kit to adjust my pre load setting.. . currently still playing around the pre load to find which best for my feel ... heheheh ..

Finally was able to test out my rear tire in super wet conditions

but not in the situation that i hope to test it in

 

was riding back home with my gf to have a change of clothes due to the heavy rain just now which caught us unprepared

was on PIE and on the 1st lane with my high beam on for better visibility

in front of me was this blue merc who was travelling at 70km/h on the 1st lane

i slowed down behind him and wanted to lane change to the left to overtake him

as i was checking my blind spot, the side of my eye caught him JAMMING his brake(the front of him was clear, min 3-4 cars distance from the car in front)

i am very sure he did this on purpose:angry::angry:

lucky i reacted fast and jammed my brake(my tires hold up well under the super wet conditions, if not would have ended up in the hospital liao)

after i slowed down,i lane change to the left and at the same time horned him

when i passed his passenger window i stared at him(can't see his face cos heavy rain)

and showed him the middle finger:cheeky:(was damn pissed off, already soaking wet and he purposely do this)

after i overtook him, he still got the cheek to horn me back

i was still pissed so i showed him the middle finger again when i cut back into the 1st lane before i picked up speed and went off...

too bad have no camera mounted on my bike

if not can show you guys how idoit this driver is
