Hi guys! I'm 21, and I live at Telok Blangah near Mt Faber. Currently taking my 2B and I was looking to get reviews on this bike, more specifically, from you guys who have obviously ridden it more than anyone else!

I've got a guy who owns a pulsar in my block (never got to meet him though) but it looks like a nice beginner's ride to start with. In terms of feel, take off/pick up and handling does it feel like the Honda CB 125 at the riding schools? (BBDC uses the honda megapro bikes now)

I plan to get a bike to get from place to place sometime in Jan,and if there're any prospective sellers here who would like to teach me a few things or two, I'd be up and interested to learn :)

Can I ask if tmr's outing at KFC is open to learner riders who just wanna know more about the Bajaj?

Sportbiker at heart!

Also, can I just ask whats 1st party insurance, 2nd party insurance n 3rd party insurance? Which is better? How to see which one I should get for myself?

pulsar is a street bike, more or less like the school learning bike, so no worry about the handling part... initially i think you will feel pulsar is very powerful compared to CB 125, but will get used to it soon. but then, i feel that the vibration is quite strong. need more time to get used to this thou.

i am sure you will be welcome in tomorrow gathering. but you nid to find someone who stay near you to pick you up. :goodluck:

err... i thought 3rd party = people can claim your insurance in an accident.

2nd party = 3rd party + fire and theft. which mean if you park in carpark, got people burn down your bike or stole your bike away, you can make a claim for it.

Picking up is not a problem. I could always make my way down myself. You guys won't be biking anywhere right? Cause I just wanna learn as much as a beginner should know about the pulsar :)

Currently, testing on DIY cruise control for my next bike trip. Check it out at Cheap A** Throttle lock site.

Its only for highway when you are at Max gear, its work really well for a cheap soluation.

And for the DIY PVC camera stand also working well too. Currently, its a handle-bar mount so the captured video has a lot of movements in it,

left and right turning form handle-bar. Next project will be a DIY tank mount camera stand.

Will be posting photos on these projects soon, sorry lately a bit busy :cheeky: .

CoOL! DIY cruise control.

Wah you so fast hand, already done a DIY PVC camera stand:thumb:

Ever tried mounting to the crash bar?

:btw: Can share some clips of the your DIY for us to see?

Or maybe share with us during the meet-up.
