I don wan to re route the air breather la bro. I prefer stock motorcycle Less problems. Yes i heard of Xado but i think i don wan that. I prefer Fully synthetic eo enough for my transport bike. Thanks for the offer bro.

we here .. we do certain things on our pulsar not by just suka suka one but we have our brothers from Indonesia and India which they have tested on their bikes and shared with us here ... so basically to say we know what best for our pulsars not by just ppl say this and that or also those ppl who have ride pulsar before but not really understand the capabilities of what our pulsars can achieved for daily ride and maintanance care wise... reasons why they complained this and that .... to be honest it's the rider problem most rather than the bike problem..... oh damn..think der's nuttin much i cn do to my fazer yet..probably if need to change spocket n chain will juz use normal ones..coz..as it is..my ride is damn fast..hehehe

i agree wif u...chex is a good engine oil..im tryin yubbco 10w50 now..recommended by my mech for distance tourin. so far so good..haven tried tourin yet

 

The only time I felt my bike screaming and vibrating @ 100 kms/hr was when I had poured poor quality Bardahl mineral engine oil in it. After that have changed to Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic and it has been super smooth and revv-happy It has been 2.5k kms since last change and it is still so smooth. Next oil change I will do once 3k kms is done. I am going to try Chessa Chex 9000 FS 10W50 which costs 16$ and has very good reviews especially from Phantom knights.

actuali for eo/spark plug u cn go any bikeshop to replace..juz ur preference on wad kinda EO u wana use. u cn even go jb change if u wan..i stay wdld too..n i change my EO oppo sembawang camp..else u cn go yishun industrial too..der gt plenty of bikeshops for u to choose from. btw..where u buy ur bike since bt merah so far? hehehe

Bro, Spark plugs need not be changed everytime you change your EO. Check this maintainence schedule:

The mfr recommended interval for changing spark plugs is 15k kms.

 

Bike service companies create these packages of EO+Spark Plug change just to make money.

hi

for spark plug and EO can change at any bike shop

since you stay woodlands can also go AGL to change

cheaper than changing in SG

but for a new rider please don't go in m'sia until you are comfortable with your bike on SG roads

we do have some regualr petrol trips in so you can also tag along on that

spark plugs can last longer than then 10-15k recommended

you will need to know the way to UM and ride down there as you need to head down for parts replacement or if there is any servicing need to be done

i recommend you to take this chance to find the way down and ride down to UM to do your EO and spark plug so you know how to go down

btw what tires are you on now?

recommend to change out the stock MRF tires

min change out the rear mrf tires

can change to battalex or duro or irc tires

battalex is good but ex and wear out fast

duro & irc are cheaper, not too bad

I have a question to ask,a few days ago.i was involve in an accident,it was a two way lane,in front of me,the traffic became very congested.

 

I decide to take overtake since the traffic on the other side is clear and the middle is a single white line,when i overtake within the white line.

 

When i have reach the front side(head) of the smrt bus,the bus driver suddenly move out.my pulsar bike was knock and i flung off from my bike around 15 feet to the other side of the road.

i went to TP HQ to record my statement.The IO told me they will charge the bus driver.I would like to know,when IO says they will charge the bus driver,that means everything is settle??

 

Another question:when my bike was tow to universal,they say they will settle everything for me,hiring lawyer,making the claim.Is it advisable for me to call universal to make for me the claim,as i have no experience in this kind of matters??

yes UM can help you settle...

you can also try asking hkl next door to UM...

for both UM and the TP side will be good if you check on the progress for the investigation n the claim from time to time...

cause it will take some time for everything to be settled...

Oh thats scary. Never thought that police can catch us while filling. I always thought its the petrol pump owners who will be fined if they allow filling RON 95. Now I need to think twice about filling RON 95 there. Do the cops wear uniform or without uniform?

My insurance is from ntuc 3rd party,fire and theft.

If the repair fee is $600.that means insurance will pay for me $100,i will have to fork out $500 by myself right??

yeah police car usually patrol that stretch in the wee hours in the morning wearing uniform.
