Oh thats scary. Never thought that police can catch us while filling. I always thought its the petrol pump owners who will be fined if they allow filling RON 95. Now I need to think twice about filling RON 95 there. Do the cops wear uniform or without uniform?

the station used to open till 12am only

now they open till 3am

so watch out for them

not only will the owners will be fined the person caught pumping will also be fined

My insurance is from ntuc 3rd party,fire and theft.

If the repair fee is $600.that means insurance will pay for me $100,i will have to fork out $500 by myself right??

3rd party fire and theft only covers fire & theft above what is covered in the 3rd party insurance

which means other ppl can claim from your insurance but you cannot claim from your own insurance + fire & theft damge to your vehicle

price wise you can check with Cookie Monster ... check his post at sbf .. he's clearing his stock .. so you should get a better price from him ... hmm while stock last lah! .. and as for me... you can msg me as I brought in by MO only ... the more ppl order, the lesser the price you pay.... hehehe

 

and for what it's function .. hmmm the Protect coils produce extra voltage (kilo volt) to increase your bike torque and power from stock coil.

Please see chart below .. even nology profire cant match protect coil in terms of torque (pick up).

Oh ok. I will watch out for them next time onwards. I normally go there only on weekends morning or weekdays around 5pm-6pm. Never went there at night, wife doesn't allow riding at night

@atipo are looking to increase the top speed of the bike? or the torque? or the pick up? and man are you up so early!

 

Bro, did the same thing with my first ug2 pipe. Can feel the extra power when over taking. Noticed no differnt in FC. Sound only louder by few db. But when down shifting, sounded more bassy.. It's not for top speed - that 1 another issue ( gear ratoing). Just don't like to have a silent pipe. Even thought of putting Muzzy endcan from my zzr1100..........::> I work nights ah bro. Cheers.

hahai went ahead to pump at Esso RON 95. ya cheap cheap!!

lol cheap cheap is the ultimate goal of getting my pulsar mah. so must go all the way since already at JB, might as well just hunt for the cheapest.

Ya i saw "polisi" standing by the road with his white polisi bike parked there. but he wasnt looking in my direction. so i jus ride nicely pass him/ lol luckily nv kena anything lor. anyway there's a lot of SG cars there when i went ytd around 3-4pm. the traffic is smooth. no bikes at the queue at all. Sunday is the best day to go. plus the weather is cooling SHIOK AH! i enjoyed my ride there and back home. woohoo. riding rocks. haha.

 

eh... my right side spark plug there got a thin layer of oil coating my engine leh. is it a leak? my dad says its the piston pump the air got small crack den the air n a bit of oil will leak out. nothing much for now. but in the long run there is no power to my engine. how to repair??? =/

oh btw, i bought a Snail helmet from Indo. lol. and mirrors. and stickers. haha. meet soon then i show u all!

sian...this morning when i turned on the power my voltage is only 11.8v...then when riding the max it will go up to 14.2v...when stop at traffic light my voltage is 13.4v only...

sian...think is my batt going liao...

Mine even stranger incident happened last week. I had disconnected only the negative terminal of the battery(black wire) as I was not going to ride for a week. Later when I connected back the negative terminal and tried to start it is not starting. Kept pressing the starter several times still dead. Tried kick start but my stamina is not enough to kick start the monster. Then again tried the starter few more times and suddenly it started and then I revved it for about 5 mins and went for a 3 kms ride and then the battery is back to normal again.

 

I was thinking disconnecting just the negative terminal is enough, but now I guess thats not true.

juz a few pointers for u to tell u sumtin abt pulsar in general.

 

Positive:

Good fuel consumption(my p200 full tank 18l could reach 700+km..every mth go jb once or twice onli topup)

Very reliable and durable. crank start easily.

Parts r easy to get at 1 bikeshop at bt merah..bt other bikeshops may also have if u r in luck. pricin wise around the same as rxz i believe

Bajaj forum are helpful n nice ppl. if u ever encounter any probs, our "moderators" alvin and uncle mj cn reali help u alot. not to forget our safety ambassador O'ren.

 

Negative:

I duno abt e rest..bt my p200 vibrated alot wen i rode over 100km/h. Put heavy balancer oso no diff. in e end cant be bother juz wear glove..lesser vibration. pulsar was made for India's roads, hence..cruisin at 80km/h would be no prob at all. if u rev more, sumtimes may sound like u torturin e engine..bt its juz hw dey built it.

If u or ur pillion have a big ass..pulsar dun feel so comfortable imho. same goes wif other naked bikes la of coz. sumtimes..e bike choose u..nt u choose e bike..hehehe

so you left the air box cover opened or covered it back? ... any oil traces in the box?

 

Hmm Protect V1 and V2 (ground) and V3 ultimate comparison on performance .. you can check on the chart I posted.

 

For both V1 and V2 .. you need to cut and replace pulsar stock plug head to install on the left coil. For right side no need.

 

For Protect V3 ultimate need to cut and and replace with pulsar stock plug head for the right coil. For left side no need.

 

V1 and V2 are slightly cheaper than V3 Ultimate.

 

Try call cookie if he has stock ? as for me I bring in Protect V3 ultimate only by mo here.

For those who intend to change to KNN open air filter RC-1060 .. there's a guy named phantom 150 doing mo at sbf mo thread... price quite reasonable.

 

I did order mine and waiting for it to arrive hehehe... just a 'new' toy to play around on my ride .. hahahahahah
