Guys...My ohter half got a w910i phone recently...But need to ask some info...

When payment made,salesperson told her the imei is not for the make(sony) but for nokia,then told me that if any cust svs call,lie to them n say dunno wat model i take...then told her that phone is from singtel,even though she sign up for m1...

Will i run into any offences by purchasing the phone,even though i am not aware of it?

Anything can be done to curb this?

I believe the phone was bought from a 2nd hand shop?

hi,

 

basically, the reason was they are not suppose to sell you this phone(W910i) under this line which u re-contracted due to they need to submit the "actual" imei to the telco. The phone in which u bought does not have the actual imei that needs to be submitted.

 

You do not have to worry about this issue. The consequences is more on their side.
