CDI , the glue leak is ok as is too hot

Yes that's the CDI as mentioned by jack.

Very common problem for old shadow.

Based on researched it's caused by molecular de-cohesion (old glue, lots of heat, many years of service). Usually it will still run normally, but recommended to clean the gummy stuffs up, and refill back with epoxy. By doing it should last another 10 more years at least. Basically the glue is used for waterproofing the cdi and keeping the internal part from vibration.

Yeah, in fact, its common in all bikes more than 10 years old.
