No street legal pipes??!! That's sad right? Thought this is based on exhaust passing inspection? You mean none of the after market exhaust is able to pass inspection? They cant be THAT loud?

LTA wont allow aftermarket for cruiser.. Not a issue of loud or not loud thou... maybe u wanna petition in to LTA?

anyone install HEL brake hose for their shadow and how much?

Or just use OEM one?

thks.

unique motors selling $80 per HEL hose...

the good think about HEl is that it is more responsive and don't give u the spongy feeling after sometime..

I was sure all steel braided brake hoses are the same. Mine's Spiegler, which I got from BikeLab when they had a promotion

I'm looking for those slightly better quality ones... not those from ah boy, auntie shop, ah koon that seems to rust within the first week....

My accessories have finally arrived last friday. I've installed all of them except the driving lights. I was a bit disappointed when I saw it. At once, you could see that it was not high quality material. It's still in the box and I don't think I'll install it at all.

Btw, I ordered a pair of new Shadow ACE emblems from kakahealthcare and it was excellent. Nice quality. If anyone needs their email address, just PM me. They even gave free gifts with the purchase and a 5% discount on the next order. And as usual, the items from Cruiser Customizing were top notch.

I really love the headlight visor. It makes the headlight look bigger and gives it a retro look.

Fuel valve cover to match the fuel switch.

And a handlebar center bracket. The only thing is that it covers the turn signal indicator.

I also ordered UNI Air Filter. It's washable too like K&N but a whole lot cheaper.

Bro OneHeadlight, Your Shadow is getting chromer and chromer each day. LOL

Haha. Thanks bro. I'm now down to the little accents like plugging exposed nuts and bolts with chrome covers. They're just as expensive as big parts!

I bought a US version plate no. holder with the original 4 reflectors. Very nice.

They're shorter than the Asian version so the rear fender tip is more exposed. :thumb:

Bro, did your kuryakin grips finally arrive?

I just pump every 300km or so.

When the bike starts coughing, its time to switch to the reserve tank.

LOL. The bike doesnt cough like human hence you dont have to hear it, you can feel that the bike is jerking, and when you twist the throttle you will not feel any power, then you better switch to resv quickly. Btw, not safe to listen to mp3 when riding bro :)

Normally i will top up petrol when it reaches 260km just to play safe. :)

For my shadow, the fuel consumption rate is 22km/litre, so it can approx travel 264km before hitting reserve.
